5/6 Negative guidance It is forbidden for the US to help any other country with nuclear technology, (Except the UK) Kissinger decided helping France by steering their scientist away from the wrong solutions was OK. Why? - They could check French advancement. - Another player increases the MADness.

4/6 The M4 The jump in technology between a two-stage and a three-stage rocket is enormous. The mass jumps from 19t to 35 tons. A third stage needs new materials for the heat, new computers, a piloted delivery system for 6 nukes. France had its first MIRV, with a bit of help!

The Aegis onshore in Romania and Poland are equipped with SM-3 ( 48?), it is also a very capable ex-atmospheric interceptor. If I remember it is also the most expensive one. Killed a satellite in 2008. Used by the US Navy extensively.

🚀📖 💙📚⚡️⏳ #ColdWar #Spy #thriller The day of the Midship is fast approaching! Elbrus Committee! www.midshipnews.org/books-midshi...

The Other Cold War
When the Soviet Empire collapsed, Western intelligence had one priority: ringfence the old Soviet nuclear program. Partners, even former enemies were all in agreement, the Soviet nuclear stockpile should not fell into the wrong hands.
For ten years, the Elbrus Committee successfully coordinated this work between major intelligence organisations.

In 1998 everything changed, India then Pakistan revealed themselves with a series of nuclear tests, uncovering a new and terrifying reality: tactical nuclear weapons were now part of their arsenals.

This other Cold War had been raging for decades, high in the Himalayas, where India, Pakistan, and China
fought for control of the continent’s vital freshwater reserves.

Two years after the events of Maskirovka, the CIA, DGSE, and FSB find themselves drawn into another
dangerous confrontation with global ramifications. Will they stand behind their respective allies, or set
aside old rivalries to prevent an unthinkable nuclear war?
