7 (?) years after Snooker19 came out, I still find myself spending almost three hours grinding out a 5-4 win against some dude to advance to the next round of a tournament. Game just won't die

I've reached the Cairo levels on TRLR. This section gave me kittens back in the day. Probably won't be much different now my brain is 20 years older. I did remember how use the ice ghost fairly quickly though.

Tomb Raider The Last Revelation is an amazingly crafted game and yet oddly slow and frustrating. And there aren't enough flares.

Finally finished Visions of Mana. Took me 50hrs and 53mins

James Van Der Beek, Robert Duvall, Tom Noonan, and Eric Dane. It's been an absolute barrage this week

Tomb Raider 3 is a great game, but also too dark. It's so frustrating at times

My son has somehow finished Visions of Mana whilst I'm stuck on a boss fight way back on Chapter 4 At least Tomb Raider progress continues to go serenely; currently at Area 51 on TR3.

I finished the Tomb Raider 2 Gold levels last night (inc Nightmare in Vegas). Didn't enjoy them as much as Unfinished Business from the first game. Hopefully starting Tomb Raider 3 on Boxing Day.

6hrs 54mins into Visions of Mana. Haven't even finished Chapter 1 yet according to my trophy list. I am still in 'do every side quest mode' though. That won't last

The Midnight Woodsman @midnightwoodsman.bsky.social · 18/12/2025

Started the Tomb Raider 2 DLC and finished the first level "The Cold War". It was..ok I guess. Somehow missed two collectibles even though I was following a guide for them this time! Oh well. I was never going to 100% the trophies anyway

Planning to play Mass Effect 3 after Visions of Mana. I did the first 2 Mass Effects a while ago and loved them, but then needed a break. Now that the new Tomb Raider games have cast a Lara who was supposedly a voice in Mass Effect 3, it's the perfect time to finally complete the trilogy.

Just finished The Floating Islands of Tomb Raider 2. I'm wondering if I have a chance of getting through the entire series by the release day of Legacy of Atlantis. Bearing in mind too that as a PS5 player I will be forced to skip Tomb Raider Underworld

Spent ages on Visions of Mana doing a sidequest where you have to find a NPC's love letter that blew out of his hand in the wind. When I finally found it, the game didn't even let me read it. No fair!

The Midnight Woodsman @midnightwoodsman.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

3 hours into Visions of Mana. I'm a little disappointed there's a reoccurring enemy called a "mushboom" but it doesn't seem to ever self-implode

The Midnight Woodsman @midnightwoodsman.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

Played Tomb Raider 2 today (Catacombs of the Talion brrrr) and then watched the Influencer sequel. Cassandra Naud is just superb.

Holy crap, not just one but TWO new Tomb Raider games on the way. Best early Christmas gift ever.

The Midnight Woodsman @midnightwoodsman.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Finally started Visions of Mana. Could this game be any more colourful? And why is a young teenage girl not even remotely concerned about sacrificing herself to a tree?

The Midnight Woodsman @midnightwoodsman.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

Just finished Life is Strange for the first time in about 8 years. I can't believe 55% of folk choose to tear the town up. That's basically the fan fiction version. Story works so much better with the other version

The Midnight Woodsman @midnightwoodsman.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

An Influencer sequel and a Horror in the High Desert sequel releasing on streaming in the same week?! This might turn out to be my favourite week of the year.

Steadfastly moving through Tomb Raider 2 (Tibetan Foothills) whilst feeling slightly jealous my son has got a jump start on me on Visions of Mana On the film front, I'm really looking forward to Influencers coming out this Friday

My PS5 is apparently repaired and on its way home tomorrow. Woohoo. I can get on with finishing my latest playthrough of Tomb Raider 2. Then it will be Visions of Mana.

Working on my top 100 horror films of all time ranking for the channel. Meanwhile, I've asked the wife to get me Trails of the Sky(?) Chapter 1 for Christmas. I've heard it's good.

My beloved PS5 has gone off for repair. Tonight, for the first time in 5 years, it will not be sleeping under my roof. Visions of Mana meanwhile is just sat there under the tv begging to be played. This is going to be a rough week.

Currently working my way through "Stray" and I've also ordered Visions of Mana. On the film channel side of things, mini reviews should be out tonight and then it will be Firestarter 1984 (which I've already watched)
