I can always tell my caffeine dependence has gotten bad when i go a single day without an energy drink or any caffeine and i spend the following day with less than no energy and a horrific headache.

I think my favorite thing about Fortune's Weave still being relatively new is that the meta progression and optimal play stuff isn't completely ironed out yet to the point of common knowledge, so I feel like everybody I talk to has an insanely out of pocket character/class combo they're using

Incredibly excited for fun night of Manning Megaly with @votumstellarum.bsky.social and @wintersoulyk.bsky.social as we chill for a little to watch the Day of Sigma OVA before starting our 3-way Mega Man Archipelago! I'll be playing X5 (but without the stupid parts of X5)! twitch.tv/midnightwand...

Got another Archipelago stream down the pipeline in a few hours! For once, not one I've organized myself lmao.

Y'know maybe going from barely talking with friends for a month straight into having a day spending a solid chunk of it talking with assorted friends and friend groups may not have been the greatest idea, because i'm dealing with post-chat anxieties that are making me crumple into a sphere lmao

If your atonement comes at the cost of betraying the trust of hundreds of thousands of people, many of which are victims of the very thing you’ve perpetrated, you’re just creating more sins to atone for. Cut the shit.

Like that was a huge concern I had going into Canto 10: the idea that they might try to "fix" Meursault, so I am beyond happy with how they handled him and his neuroses. Move over Hong Lu, we have a new secondary kin character in my heart

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I think one of my favorite parts of Limbus and it's characters is how it never "fixes" characters quirks or socially deviant aspects, instead making all of their character growth learning to grow and become more complete on top of their issues and trauma instead of in spite of them

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

38) Limbus Company Canto X: The Gaze Bearing Gotta be honest, wasn't the BIGGEST fan of the first couple parts despite how much I like its ambition and how immaculate its vibes are, but the finale was so fucking good. Still don't know if I want them doing more of the RPG-like segments.

Deeply uncomfortable to read. Jacob and I have floated in a lot of the same circles and I considered him a colleague and a friend. I’m disgusted.

Waiting for the physical version to play, but this is good to hear! Interested to see where the studio goes now with their new CEO or whatever being an all-in live service type. Really hope it doesn't cause too much of a change on the creative level

011

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Seriously I would sell whatever's left of my soul for the Orchel, Talimund, and Bertrand routes. I would burn out into oblivion, but I absolutely would play them

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I find it beyond hysterical that "Fortunes Weave is way too goddamn long" and "They should've had all 8 routes while originally planned" are opinions that multiple people, myself included, have simultaneously

111

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Like my issue with cooking healthy for myself is that I get so hung up on not overeating the bad stuff that I stay constantly hungry and it mutilates my quality of life. Remembering that you can do low cal high volume is actually a lot for me

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

ngl nothing has given me more inspiration to cook more again than the guy on YouTube who's like "hey I made a fucking mountain of pasta salad for dinner. It's only 1000 calories. Anyways I've lost 70 pounds so far this year"

Only 4 more days until my week off work, holy shit I'm so excited. The last few weeks have genuinely been the most exhausting my job has ever been barring Christmas season and I'm excited to not have to be there for 9 days

Like actual straight up this is the best 3 consecutive pages of any manga I've ever read, I could literally write a short essay on why today's chapter is a goddamn masterpiece

Issho Arakawa from the manga Akanebanashi performing rakugo. He is centered on page in a narrow panel flanked by white space, holding his fan like a pipe and backed by the border of two paper panels, creating the illusion of a noose around his neck. He is all you should see.

A followup to the previous image. A hyper detailed two page spread of Issho Arakawa's face, devoid of emotion yet brimming with a quiet malice. He is all you CAN see.

The final of the three pages. Issho Arakawa is in the center, in the same pose as the first image, flanked by pure white space and surrounded by black. He is devoid of shading. Issho Arakawa is all there is.

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yeah today's chapter has locked it in comfortably: Akanebanashi is the best manga in Shonen Jump right now, and will be until it's conclusion.

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

There's an amusing irony to me in the "X but as a triple A game" videos being entirely homogenous and the same thing over and over again in an effort to get attention

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Anyways I have no deep love for the company, but ni no kuni and dragon quest 9 got me into JRPGs so ngl the hardcore AI pivot hurts still

000

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

The entire level 5 situation is insanely funny to me, because if you don't have the context all you see is a game company prepping to release a new game in their most beloved franchise after announcing a new entry in their second most beloved and multiple new games and their fanbase is crashing out

37) Life Man Ended too soon ngl. A fantastic slice of life manga about the little ways we can all work to make the world a little better than it was the day before. Genuinely wish the manga went on for at least another year to let it's characters arcs develop a little more

120

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Like it's not just me right? The expansion to more nonfocused factions, the general locales and setup, the way dungeons work, this game is copying Metaphors homework to supplement the gaps in the Fire Emblem part of it (and it pulls it off shockingly well)

110

Midnight Wanderer 🌘 @midnightwanderx.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Don't think I'll say much more about it for now, but I'm gonna make this my unofficial fortunes weave thread. Insane to me how it feels like this game was made with a checklist of "shit people hated about 3H to fix" and decided to check them all off by just. Taking notes from Metaphor lmao
