When I was in middle school we had an assignment to write a poem about 9/11 and mine was apparently so good, several teachers cried while reading it and it got displayed in the hallway for a bit. I don’t even remember what I wrote lol

The hardest part was getting the straps of the overalls back in the right spot, had to use a little plastic stick to get them to lay flat and in the correct position

My other cat was barely eating the entire time his brother was gone and was sticking close to me as much as possible and also cried when I went to bed. They’re a bonded pair of twins and extremely close. They’re both sticking close to each other now

Now I’m like $4k in debt and super exhausted. My cat is okay, after the procedure and being hospitalized for a few days he was able to come home yesterday. So now I have a wobbly little kitty that’s high on pain meds and is shaved in a few spots

One of my cats nearly died on Friday, rushed him an hour away to the emergency vet, almost had to say goodbye to him because they wanted payments before treatment and I don’t even make enough to cover all the household expenses on my own. Had to borrow money from family members and payment plans

-I worked overtime when physically possible driving myself into stress induced exhaustion because we’re down to one income -My dad went to the ER again and is currently in another extended hospital stay -Had to take my partner to the ER again and now I’m waiting while she’s in surgery

Hhhoman where do I begin -partner had to go to ER night before our anniversary, we spent our anniversary waiting on test results and sleeping all day when we finally got home -partner got fired from job days later -my dad had to go into the ER and had an extended hospital stay then sent home

Wow 2026 sure is off to a great start. My partner and I just spent our anniversary in the hospital because she got really sick. (She’s recovering now) 🙃

My dad was in the hospital for like two weeks because of sepsis (he’s doing better now). One of my grandmothers is in hospice care now. And one of my cats almost fucking died 😣 (he’s doing okay now too) So 2025 can go die where it belongs. Hoping 2026 will be better…

I started the year sick with pneumonia and the flu back to back, and preceded to get sick at least once a month or two afterwards for the rest of the year. I had some… very personal issues I’d much rather forget. Lots of health problems and emergency wisdom tooth surgery. Financial struggles.
