Update: Honeyed Fruit blend is delicious and tasted just like one of my very favorites, Casablanca from Coffee Times. 4/5 stars because I want to leave room to be blown out of the water by something new.

So as nerds do, in anticipation of Fire Emblem Fortunes Weave coming out, BB and I have been replaying Three Houses. This inspired him to get me a very early birthday present! These are so well done, the packaging is fantastic, the tea smells and sounds delicious! I can’t wait to try them all!!

Aunt Joyce got me the orange dreamsicle candle, and went in with my cousin Sophia on a really special surprise. The charm bracelet is a Bradford Exchange authentic piece themed after Pirates of the Caribbean. It has Swarovski crystals, fresh water black pearls, and 24 karat gold plating. 😍

Had a great Christmas! Hope you all did too. Some really cool gifts this year.

Me n Boops were Jinu and Derpy for Bark Bash! So much fun. 🧡

And finally, a submission to an unofficial Dreamsnap competition on a Discord server I’m in, and also my most recent official entry to date: “Autumn Arrival”

Here’s a few more honorable mentions I just like a lot

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

Those first ones were the ones I feel like look the best overall, but these four are my favorites creatively. The last one was called “Master of Disguise” and was really fun to see all the entries on.

Call me a cringe Disney adult millennial if you must, but I love decorating and doing Dreamsnaps in Dreamlight Valley. Here’s a few of my favorites just because I was looking through them recently.

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

Also these two guys but this room isn’t full enough to do anything with yet

Been pretty consistently playing and enjoying Pokémon Friends, and collected all the Pokémon available in the base game so I bought the DLC! Here’s my collection so far.

It has a reversible jacket too which I am LOVING.

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

It does indeed hold up! I wasn’t sure it would, knowing it was written by a 16 year old but he was a very talented one. Incredible at describing things to give you a good picture in your mind or to imagine the experience. Looking forward to continuing the series, but first, a pre-order has arrived!!

What a delight to see my aunt who is visiting with my mom from a few states away. I’ve been missing out on all the quality bonding, such as showing her a picture of a dinner I made and having her say “That looks disgusting.” 🙃

This theatre is beautiful and I am PUMPED!!!

040

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

I took a chance on a book I just happened to see and an author I’d never read before and I am glad I did! A very readable but also very smartly written adventure that feels extremely DnD. Loved it. Time to find out if Eragon holds up!

In the past, Lord Byron has been my favorite but this time I was enjoying Samuel Taylor Coleridge the most! Anyway, during the read I went on a trip and among many places around San Francisco, found myself at a really cute book store on Stinson Beach! I got this book there and it is up next!

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

Did I really take a photo to post and then forget to actually post it AGAIN?? I finished the play pretty fast and started this book about a month ago.

100

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

But anyway, next up is a play I bought for college and then never read. The summary on the back does sound good tho.

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

It’s extremely good, well written, and helpful, but since I have ADHD and it’s a nonfiction book, it took me like 6 months to get through it lmao. With that, we’re on to the E’s, and a classic of my childhood.

100

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

Dracula was obviously great, and it got me to watch the movie for the first time. I have only now realized that in hilariously topical fashion, I never posted when I started reading a new book, which was this. :’)

Christmas present report! Libertalia game, Mighty Nein graphic novel, and candles from my sister Ness, ceramic dishes and owl S+P shakers from my aunt, Fearne plush, Disney Villain and Vox Machina coloring books from my cousin,

Hey remember pet shaming from a few years ago? I’m throwing my foster kitten in the ring. She’s a late entry but I think she really has a shot at winning.

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 23/03/2024

Wow I did not remember that that book is so short! A good quick and atmospheric read for like a Halloween night or something. Spooky classic #2!

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 20/03/2024

For a book about a crippled boy set during the plague, that book was weirdly free of any conflict or hardship. It was boring but thankfully short. On to a couple of spooky classics!

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 13/03/2024

Diving Bell was obviously written for a young reader, but it’s a really nice little historical fiction piece and surprisingly manages to write about a Spanish friar befriending a native girl in Mexico without it feeling too icky in any of the plethora of ways it could have. Next!

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 10/03/2024

The next couple are from my homeschool curriculum so long ago that I don’t even remember what they’re about, but I kept them because I thought they were especially good at the time, so we’ll see if they hold up.

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 10/03/2024

THE END HAS COME. As everyone knew all along, Matsuda was the only good one. I read the end of 11 and all of 12 in one go so I’m already done with this one. Somehow the series was both better and worse than I remembered… it’s a strange one, but I’ll keep it in my collection.

110

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 11/02/2024

These two are a little boring so I thought I’d have Boops sex it up a bit.

121

midgi @midgi.bsky.social · 25/01/2024

Update: my pets are still cute.

030

Mello is so incredibly annoying that it took me forever to get through that single manga volume. Hopefully the rest will go smoother even tho he’s still in it.
