iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

anyway assuming it does close, please take the time to find the comics you're reading elsewhere!! we artists are tIRED of the constant platform jumping we get it but we rely on y'all ❤️

neither is a substantial amount (for me, at least!) but it still sucks to see the one that I actually make /something/ from go! It's also where my audience is most active! I have approx the same follower count on each but tapas is about 5x times more active w views, likes, and comments. 🤷

my experience being in each of their creative programs is also that tapas just pays better and is more transparent about it. toons is a mysterious amount of ad revenue they do not tell you the % you're getting. tapas tells you exactly how much your comic makes and the % split (for the ink payments).

like web/toons is by FAR the most strict about censorship compared to any other site I post on, and it is often wildly subjective and random.

tapas closing will affect me personally and but my biggest annoyance is the consolidation of web/toons being the only viable comic hosting site for reaching a larger audience now

it sucks how few people are willing to endure even a little friction to continue to read things they supposedly liked. that's the saddest part to me, when someplace like tapas goes down.

It’s my most active readership and easily makes me more money than the other site too I’m so 😭

the haunting

an illustration of jude from the graphic novel 'strange cases' in a cathedral-like setting, holding scales with lit candles, as though it was a candelabra. the smoke from the candles swirl around him, leading to a looming statue of his mother holding a sword. her sculpted visage is partially weathered and damaged, exposing the bones that lay underneath the statue. surrounding him are more statues, this time of saints, similarly weathered, with their bones partially exposed.

I find it easier to tackle the fact that I have like 6 social media sites I keep up to date if I only have to think about it every once in a while instead of trying to juggle it on a daily basis

Midgart @midgart.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I schedule most of my social media posts weeks at a time so sometimes bsky gets randomly forgotten bc theres still no scheduling here 😫
