Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Schmitt might want to lock down the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and Iowa Hawkeyes before getting too ambitious. 011
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Interesting email for Colorado Rapids tonight that my Open Cup tickets were being cancelled due to new stadium configuration. Looks like they are only seating in 1/2 of the stadium. Just repurchased in the new section as close to STL supporters as possible. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 08/09/2026So sad . One man and his minions doing so much damage. 001
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Easy to find inexpensive tickets in Colorado for upcoming semifinal match - it surprised me how many prime seats were available when I purchased. Demand doesn’t seem to match the competition stage. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 23/08/2026It does sum up the last three years perfectly. I want to be positive and look forward to the additions that will be announced soon (???) but it is difficult. Play the kids! 010
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Don’t score a goal tonight or you might be shipped off… 100
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Literally made me a fan! Diving into a fight for your brother is as old as time. Huge props for the kid. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 20/08/2026This is the US - the objective is $$$$ not football/soccer. 020
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 17/08/2026He does significantly more than score. His ability to stretch defenses and effectively press opens scoring opportunities for others. Valuable player that opens the match up. 010
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Should check with STL City - they may have someone available for $50k. 010
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 08/08/2026It will be interesting to see how much of a salary cut he is taking to facilitate this move. That would show the shared responsibility with this situation. 020
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 26/07/2026They have to do something to move the ball more effectively. This could go south quickly with a lucky goal. Several missed opportunities to open things up. Very hot out there. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Very disappointing for the league and more proof about the ultimate positioning of STL City as a mid to lower table club when it comes to external talent. Our route will be player development from our local area (which could be incredible…) 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 19/07/2026You are spot on - teams make dumb moves in all the leagues but what stings the most is he is leaving for an adjacent league. Very telling when it comes to the future of MLS. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 17/07/2026I’m not sure that MLS would survive if Liga MX decided to partner with USL. 010
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Not sure we are very attractive to players at this point. Low stability, poor results and a city that is not on the radar for many. We will have to pay more than some to get the talent or just develop it internally. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 10/07/2026Spotty history but someone needs to take a chance on De Ketelaere in MLS - doesn’t seem really valued in Europe. 110
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Awe, come on - you have seen plenty of STL City matches… 110
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 04/05/2026Great episode. I hear the frustration with the state of the franchise. Optimism has been great but after three years of bottom tier results we have to question if this organization is settling into a lower tier existence. 110
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 08/03/2026We most likely get the same result BUT have the benefit of building for the future. Only Burki and Hartel have proven their absolute worth so far this year. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 20/02/2026Agree and will be patient as we retool but patience is a temporary thing. We get promised a competitive squad on the field only to see low quality in the final third. This squad gives off West Ham vibes. 110
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 29/01/2026I loved his commitment to St.Louis and his personality. His injury history at City makes it too risky for a struggling lower tier team with quality issues. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 28/09/2025Agree 100%. Someone who can connect quickly to Championship clubs and be trusted is a quicker route to improvement. 000
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 28/09/2025Midfielders that have these skills are in huge demand - kind of in a midfielder renaissance in Europe now. Seems like a team would have a young one that needs time on the pitch. Can STL be trusted to provide this though? 110
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 28/09/2025We have so many issues to address - not sure this is the top one. Three windows might do it. Clearly outclassed so far. 110
Michael Trout @middleforktrout.bsky.social · 07/09/2025I really like most of the players and they appear to be really trying. Some have a burning desire and instinct to score and some hesitate, take extra touches and make cute passes that result in missed opportunities. We have too many of this type. 010
