Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 05/06/2026SWORDFISH (2001) Dropping the bit for a second, look at that fucking beard, are you serious, people thought this was cool?! The first half of this is so fucking edgy, it wants to be Fincher sooooo fucking bad it's crazy, then the action scenes kick in and holy shit, lmao, holy fuck. 100
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 05/06/2026DUEL (1971) Damn that fucking rules, 90 minutes of a guy being harassed by the most evil and cruel of Gods creatures, the truck driver? Spielberg made movies that looked and flowed like this, _for TV_, _In 1971???_ What?! 100
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 05/06/2026ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES (1978) This was very stupid, saw it with a huge audience in the cinema, this made it a hundred times better. 100

Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 01/06/2026THE FABELMANS (2022) Fucking hell, Spielberg man, no-one does it quite like him huh. Incredibly warm at times, but also unbelievably self-critical, a kid drawing into his obsessions as his family life is out of control? Damn, couldn't relate! 100
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 01/06/2026BACKROOMS (2026) Hey this one was pretty good, just a fun lil horror thing, every now and then someone gives a bit of cash to a new director and they give you something pretty good in return, wild how that works. 100

Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 29/05/2026MULHOLLAND DRIVE (2001) I was sat in front of two people who had clearly never seen it before and were hooting and hollering in bewilderment, it was great, added to the film, two more watches and I think I might finally get it. 110
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 19/05/2026A few years ago a friend of mine gave me the worst camera possible, an 18x18 camera with a sensor used in an optical mouse, it had a readout rate of 3 seconds per frame, only worked outdoors and needed to be hooked up to a laptop. Is this shitty enough? 1261

Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 08/05/2026CUBE ZERO (2004) HEY WAIT THIS ONE KIND OF RULED, all of the worldbuilding is so vague yet so good, a guy got turned into soap, some guy had a chip in his brain, the ending was a little weak and its a lot less focussed than the original but goddamn if it wasn't a pretty big swing for the fences. 110
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 08/05/2026CUBE 2: HYPERCUBE (2002) Nowhere near as good as the previous one but still fun as hell, stupid concept, guy becomes a cannibal because he’s bored. 100
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 07/05/2026CUBE (1997) As with Event Horizon, movies from 1997 loved trapping people in an environment. This one’s great though, really tight and tense, entirely in a set-and-a-half. Really stands out in that the threat of the traps is much more prevalent, probably because there was no money for it. 110
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 04/05/2026DRIVE (2011) A movie that solidified Ryan Gosling as "literally me", the movie that sold a thousand jackets. I love it, it's tense, beautiful to look at, the score and soundtrack are great, that man is autistic, I am sure of it. 100
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 03/05/2026ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 (1976) John Carpenter was there at the moment America went full suburban paranoia and fucking ran with it. Serial killers, street gangs, satanists, aliens in the Antarctic. He did it all. Really good, tense as hell, it's clear that so many movies tried to be this and failed. 100
Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 02/05/2026Every now and then the Disney Corporation makes a movie that asks a bunch of kids "hey wouldn’t it be cool if you could be an animal? Space Deer, Space Dork @microlens.ing · 25/04/2026The best part of this movie is when Sean Connery shows up in a Will A. Zeppeli fashion: arrive in an incredible fit, explain the deal of the setting to the protagonist, then die immediately. 000
