I was discussing the hose pipe ban in the UK and the lack of reservoir capacity with a Tory friend of mine. He said “the government should build desalination plants around the coast”, I looked him in the eye and said “it’s not the government’s responsibility, it was privatised remember”.

Here’s a thought, if all the established political parties do not field candidates and just one independent stands against Farage it will be a true test of him and his policies. It will show if the electorate are only voting as a protest against the so called”established parties”.
