The WA coffee culture is crazy. I remember how many lil drive thru coffee huts populated the various parking lot corners of my hometown. I could walk to one from my childhood home! Whiplash for us when we moved to a place with almost no coffee culture. Nearest coffee spot is a ten minute drive now!

In all seriousness, Savage Worlds would be my go-to. Character creation can be disguised as answering a mercenary wanted ad. Throw in a chase scene to show off those mechanics, including some combat when you get to wherever you're going. Best system hands down.

It feels like it definitely causes some form of amnesia. My supervisor at my internship (a PhD of 10+ years) will assign me to debug code that chatgpt failed to get right on the first try. I'm literally a year into learning coding, but I'm catching basic errors that my supe should easily see.

Haha no you're fine! I agree about 6. I especially liked Gathering Storm, though I know not everyone appreciated the climate change mechanics. They were a little wonky to be sure but still nice to see the natural world brought into the game more.

No, its just my past interactions with Land Back movements in the Midwest have specified displacing people based on race. That certain people have "genocidal DNA". I doubt all movements across NA are like that, tho, and speaking to others is part of research. It was your choice not to clarify that.
