MickeyCFS @mickeyclarefs.bsky.social · 19/03/2025I have alot of thoughts about this. i think indie animation is the way forward for many animators, in many ways,but ultimately if we want that to work; if we want things to imrpove FOR animtion AND animators people have to be willing to pay for it. (Lots of lesser known pilots that should be brought up more too...) but youtube also has lots of other stuff that is horrible icky bad for ie the logan pauls/ andrew tates ect in the world. 100

Like... how many of these kids have PLAYED a sonic game...? My bets are low, but sonic is an iconic design, theres a reason he'a lasted this long! 100

Alot of them also like certain animes, dragon ball and onepiece still come up often enough. One kid was into Pokémon, I forgot to ask if she's played a game, watched a show, or just seen merch. 110

I think were in weird times, with less people having cable, and more kids with ipads and stuff, animation is less centralized like it was for us growing up. So its so much harder to tell. 110
