Ash is a great addition to the sci fi horror disaster genre of movies. Plot holes, gratuitous violence, questionable acting by bonafide talented actors, dark scenes, oh my my oh hell yeah. See also; Sunshine, Event Horizon, Europa, and the granddaddy of them all, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

So @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social wants to add a ban on arresting citizens as part of the DHS funding and ICE reform. Arbitrarily detaining citizens is already illegal. It’s called Habeus Corpus. Jeffries wants to add something that already exists. Tell me you’re missing the point without telling me.

I’m not sure how all of congress doesn’t impeach Trump and Vance and seek criminal charges against all of ICE involved. Nobody is conveying responsibility or apologies, or that they did anything wrong. The only response is fully removing the evil from office and actively shaming those who don’t act
