For this #RandomGameSaturday I'm manifesting upcoming ports for Persona 1 and both Persona 2 titles. I'd really love to play them on modern platforms. On a more personal level: this week I made plans to visit the Persona Memoria event in Tokyo that's happening for the 30th anniversary of the series

Something special for #RandomGameSaturday today. I'm enjoying a perfect weekend with some of my closest friends as my bachelor party. For this occasion I brought my copy of Sonic the Hedgehog with me. They know me well, so I received a Sonic-crown. Off to the hot tub now 😌

A little horror for #RandomGameSaturday. I always loved the Sega-versions including Sega Saturn-RE1. They're so interesting pieces of videogame- and port-history. Plus Code Veronica is just the best entry. I'm really curious how the remake will interpret it and how true to the original they'll be.

Whooooops, almost forgot it's #RandomGameSaturday because today had a lot of adult-stuff. But the good kind, so no complaining 😌 And now I'm getting into Orbitals, which I'm really looking forward to. Love the artstyle, really excited to see more of the gameplay.

On this #RandomGameSaturday I'm happy to see @doublefine.com is still going strong and that their Amnesia Fortnight Kickstarter is doing so well. If you haven't seen it, go check it out and also buy Keeper or Kiln. Every sale directly benefits the studio from now on 😌 Psychonauts 3 someday maybe? 🥹

This is an especially interesting case because usually Xbox 360 games don't show up as the actual game until you choose to "Install disc" and the game gets downloaded as "Update" completely from the store. But it doesn't have the "Claim Digital Licence" option then 🤔

110

Miggi @michseif.threetwoplay.com · 02/09/2026

Huh, interesting. I was able to claim the digital licence for Virtua Fighter 2 with the new Disc to Digital program from Xbox DESPITE it showing up as a Xbox 360 game in both the home screen and the games overview. If this means OG Xbox and 360 Digital licences in the future this would be huge 👀👀👀

Another week of gamescom in the bag. I'm tired but also super happy aaand almost forgot it's #RandomGameSaturday again. Today's game is "One Piece: Yume no Luffy Kaizokudan tanjou!" which I found randomly in a store in Japan for 2€ and thought to myself - why not? But now I have to get the 2nd one.

It's August and that means it's the perfect month to post some Boku no Natsuyasumi for #RandomGameSaturday 🌞 I love this series, would love to see more fan translations of it, like the awesome one @hilltopworks.bsky.social did for 2. Have a nice Summer vacation everyone!

BUT - the last character, Kiryu, was a preorder code. And funfact - my code still works (in theory). The Xbox Store recognises it as the Kiryu DLC, I just cannot redeem it. I guess there's some issue since the Xbox 360 Store is closed since 2 years. But I won't give up. Gimme my Kiryu Xbox! 😄

This #RandomGameSaturday threw me into a rabbit hole: the Japanese version of Binary Domain had region exclusive Yakuza-DLC and while it's lost on PS3 you can still quite easily obtain part of it via the Xbox Store since Binary Domain is backwards compatible. So 3 out of 4 characters - no problem.

I just love phsyical games. Sony's decision to kill off game discs is still so bad. Just look at this awesome artwork and how it's designed to just SLAPPP when you look at this game box. Thinking about never seeing a physical version of Shin Megami Tensei 6 or 7 makes me sad. #RandomGameSaturday

What follows after packing all my stuff? Exactly. Unpacking it. Today I found the Japanese version of Pokémon Stadium for #RandomGameSaturday which perfectly fits the 10th anniversary of Pokémon Go as well. I really love this artwork which combines the logos of Green, Red & Blue in such a cool way.

Earthworm Jim for Sega Mega Drive was one of the few games I owned as a kid. So when I found this discounted in my local shop I had to get it. Despite the whole world hating it, me and my friends had so much fun with this janky and obscure piece of software. That's this weeks #RandomGameSaturday

It definitely wasn't my fault, that we had to wait so long for a new Starfox game. I even bought (and had fun with) Starfox Zero. Just saying. I still use my Wii U to this day and with Pretendo it's a breeze to do so. Go plug in your Wii U for this #RandomGameSaturday folks 😌
