Today marks the 150th birthday or J. J. R. Macleod, the Aberdeen-educated professor who co-discovered insulin. His legacy was marred by accusations of claiming more credit than he was due, but recent research laid out in our forthcoming book restores his reputation. www.abdn.ac.uk/news/26067/
