Will add I find it highly amusing that George Harrison donated cheap shitty guitars to the Cavern Club exhibit

Yeah I am starting to think the morning is better than the evening... cats even seem to appreciate me being up early

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Definitely need to start getting up earlier in the morning... there’s something really lush about how quiet it is, and also the light before everything starts.

Fuck it... just going to eat cheese and nuts for dinner

The colour of the original was showing wear but only noticeable with certain lights... I am starting to think this may actually work after 2-3 coats and then sealing it... 🤞

1 panel done… don’t know if before and after I photos will show much as it’s black

The dye is arriving at 5pm so that may be tomorrows job

I am more worried about getting stain on the table if honest... I don't have any old sheets or curtains etc in the house

I bought it on Vinted for an absolute bargain... IF I can restore it... Its in perfect condition bar the colour

Today I’m going to attempt to re-stain and seal a leather jacket. It’s either going to go brilliantly, or it’s going in the clothing recycling bin at the dump.

Bread tins on Amazon made with galvanized steel... hilarious... wonder how many people are breathing in zinc oxide fumes and wondering why they feel like shit

I am a massive Star Wars fan... but as I stare at The Mandalorian & Grogu film on Disney... I have zero excitement or enthusiasm to watch it...

Sounds like dye transfer.. Vanish overnight might help... or new laces

Two more to watch… Oppenheimer is just too fucking long… I doubt I’ll watch it again… but it is undeniably a good movie

070

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Neeson was just very beige... he kinda is in all films... I don't rate him but he wasn't bad.... just feel he isn't a believable bad guy.. katie holmes is the bad actor in that film... i can see why she got replaced

110

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Ken Watanabe was criminally underused in begins... why he went with Neeson as the bag guy I have no idea

110

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

heath ledger is what nudges it for me... far far far better than liam neeson as a bad guy... begins is a lot more fast paced

010

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Too many historical inaccuracies/liberties taken... cherry on top being the train at the end where they sit on seats with a 1980s pattern on them... plus there is no character development in the film

010

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

The prestige is below it as Bowie sounded like Mrs Doubtfire... no idea what that was about

110

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I had to rent it off sky... its a short film... definitely on a budget but the story line is quite inventive

010

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Three more films to go but here is my ranking so far... I know everyone wanks over Batman Begins but Liam Neeson for me is overrated... in EVERY film... I will die on that hill as well

360

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Bar “he doesn’t speak as he’s french” there’s no character development… give me John Mills any day

010

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I saw it in the theatre as well… so many historical inaccuracies… no character development…

020

MICHIE @michiemusic.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Yeah spending my time watching a ranking Nolans films... all I say at the moment is Dunkirk is a piece of shit and I'll die on that hill
