iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I keep thinking about what seemed to be all the progress we made on women's rights in the US since I was a girl in the 70s, yet in the past decade all of the progress seems to have eroded.

Oh, I'm in trouble: Everything looks like a rhinoceros! 🤭😂😂

Years ago, I assigned my college freshmen to choose an advertisement to analyze. They brought their ads to class, and presented them to me and their classmates. One was It for Dolce & Gabbana, and it depicted what the class and I perceived to be a gang rape scene. I'm still appalled by it.

Yes. The eyes, too, fascinated me as a child. I remember drawing pictures of the eyes and their various parts when I was in elementary school. Now, that I'm old, I wonder what colors and shapes am I not seeing clearly. 😭

Either those lily pads are gigantic, or that Heron is tiny. Great shot! 💙

They're all lovely, but that last one is stunning! 😍 I recently bought curtains online; in one photo it shows how the color will look with different lighting. I'm fascinated by "color." I recall that there were several classes in college in which I could have studied this. One was a psych course.

Thanks, Joy! I hadn't thought of that. I usually go to one of the many family owned garden centers, but they aren't always helpful.

I was just thinking that I'd better get my act together and get to the gardening center for some bulbs and tubers for my balcony containers.

One of the gardeners on Twitter used to grow them. I thought it was you, but maybe it was Christine from Toronto. 🤷‍♀️ They are lovely!

I love the color of the roses, and it compliments the steely gray 🐈!

I hate when people stare at me when I'm eating! 🐦

Rick Scott engaged in the LARGEST Medicare fraud in HISTORY at the time. His company was fined $1.7 BILLION for his crimes and he ended up leaving the company with a $300 MILLION golden parachute.

It is! I wish I could go back to those less chaotic times [for me] as a child experiencing the natural world. 😊

Oh, yes! I'm one of the lucky people who have never had poison Ivy, but I remember my siblings suffering from it. 😬

I must be in a rut, because seeing that fabulous forest photo had me thinking it was the beginning of a horror movie. It seems like a lovely new day, but lurking in that forest is . . .this guy.
