They better hope they have room at hospitals, because regardless if someone has insurance or not, the ambulance is required to take them to the hospital. And without any necessary medication their health concerns will become even more costly for the hospitals to treat.

Or being forced to wear skirts in below freezing weather without stockings/leggings.

I don't agree with having uniforms, i just think if they're going to have them, they should get rid of things to unfairly punish girls for, like their skirts for being too short when parents can't afford to buy new skirts.

michelle900.bsky.social @michelle900.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

If it a uniform, it should be like an army uniform, unisex and no loose clothing to catch on things

000

michelle900.bsky.social @michelle900.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

I'd say that pants are fairer than making girls wear skirts they can grow out of, i hope they at least let them wear capris when its hot out.

They should slap a warning label on the giant cheeto in office, that would be more useful 🙄.

I saw a clip of jumba and Plekley. Jumba is nightmare fuel in realistic cgi. They're also actual humans for most of the movie apparently. They had a really low budget.

It was a STUDY, people don't need more studies, they need action. And Maryland is the number one state in black business.

000

michelle900.bsky.social @michelle900.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

The thing wes moore vetoed was yet another "STUDY" when what is needed is action.

Kermit the Frog told graduates at the University of Maryland that “dreams are how we figure out where we want to go, and life is how we get there.” The beloved Muppet and creation of the late Maryland graduate, Jim Henson, delivered the main address at the university’s commencement Thursday.

A Governor that understands that it doesn't help if you prefer one group over another, because that will create even more resentment, regardless if its justified. Everyone has to benefit in order for everyone to be able to come together.

Put through a high speed rail project that would contribute to poor black families, in that they can reach better high paying jobs(which the previous governor refused). Signed in progressive off shore wind projects that give opportunities for black workers as well as smaller cities.

A Governor, who is the first black governor in the United States. Who head's the number one state when it comes to black businesses. Who offered help to businesses affected by the bridge collapse.

I've seen little backlash from the black community when it comes to Diddy, who is an alleged sex abuser, yet people are so quick to throw Wes Moore under the bus because he didn't vote for a fifth STUDY on African American reparations.
