Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I dunno, maybe if they camp out in the capital for nearly a month I'll bet they'd do something. They shoot their own citizens for less. 010
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I've found sometimes it's the opposite, people have read a word many times but not necessarily heard it spoken, so they have a different pronunciation in their heads until they learn the correct way. 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I didn't even know we had car companies in Canada. I'm glad to hear this news. 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 30/09/2026What would 4.4 cents per gallon savings translate to in relation to grocery prices? Is there any evidence of these grocery price savings? Are there any before and after prices for chocolate bars, carrots, pizza pops, milk, etc.? 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 29/09/2026That's regarding self-service bans from gas stations, not the introduction of self checkout at grocery stores. 100

Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I thought they were renaming it? Why waste the money on a temporary replacement sign when they can get to business renaming now? 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Prices didn't go down when stores switched to self checkout. 1100
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 29/09/2026He'll fall asleep during a press conference one day, and then when they realize he's not breathing, will cover the scene with a curtain like they do when those AI robots fail on stage.static.klipy.comFail Curtain FailAlt: Robot fails on stage, and someone drags the robot off stage while someone else fails at covering the scene with a curtain 2183
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I get a feeling they'll never let Trump "die," and even after he passes, they will use AI to keep him on screen telling MAGA how to behave, etc. like Big Brother. Even when he's "119" years old, anybody questioning it will be branded disloyal and an enemy of the state. 4321
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 29/09/2026A bunch of super rich people who can afford to ride the wave to the bottom and buy everything cheap and become extra super duper rich after recovery. This won't end well. 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I'm guessing there's no more competition in the grocery chain market in New York? It's pretty bad in Canada, too. Maybe they need to break up the huge companies and prevent them all consolidating. If there were actual competition, this wouldn't be an issue because. 120
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 28/09/2026They definitely need to build it in, so confirmed AI slop engagement bait can be filtered out of feeds. 1231

Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 24/09/2026We can find somebody willing to beat him and arrest him and lock him up. Doesn't even have to be an official police officer as proven by ICE. Just someone granted some authority by a future government or president. Or a future president can order the secret service to bring him in, perhaps. 100
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 23/09/2026When I first saw those photos I assumed they were AI generated to make fun of them. 040
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 22/09/2026You can't just change the name of something like that. What an idiot for even attempting such a thing. It must be some sort of loyalty test to see who goes along with it. 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 21/09/2026When I first saw that posted by someone, I dismissed it as another satire fake Trump post. The fact that it's real is very concerning. 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 21/09/2026None of that matters after the primaries. The choice was her, or Trump. 1130
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I learned how to fix my dishwasher after getting a leakage error from some 12 year old on YouTube. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Very grateful. 011
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I call them Republicans because that name needs to become synonymous with their actions. All Republicans need to own this, and they should not be able to get out of it by saying, "Oh, I'm just standard Republican. I was never part of that fascist subset..." 000

Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Trump keeps saying the USA doesn't need anything from Canada so this should be interesting 020

Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 14/09/2026We storm the capitol! I'm kidding, just kidding. A strongly worded letter should do just fine. 110
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 08/09/2026An unbiased third party should look at that statement, then try to decide, "What about it doesn't make it the same?" And possibly come to a conclusion. If they don't agree with my conclusion, they're free to respond, "How are they not the same?" And then I could reply with clarification. 001
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 03/09/2026It's when you have a 2,4,6,8, and a 10 and try to gaslight everyone into believing it counts for anything. 020

Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Ah, so I guess for now, libreoffice is probably still the recommended go-to since this newer option isn't technically available. I'll keep an eye out, though. Thanks for the info. :-) 110
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 03/09/2026There have been a few options over the years, but most people seem to stick with what's popular. I mean, Google is easily replaced if you're not talking about Android. People just get 'stuck' where all their friends and family already are, etc. So they just don't bother with an exit plan. 100
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 03/09/2026So then I take it this office EU is much better overall? I may need to take a look at it. :-) 240
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 03/09/2026There's a Trump lake in Ontario, Canada, that can totally be renamed to Lake Obama. It's not big or majestic, but the sheer idea of renaming anything from Trump to Obama has got to be worth something. And yes, for anybody who sees it, I also find it funny that Elbow Lake is right next to it. 110
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 02/09/2026They can make everything in the movie completely 100% factual and people watching 20 years from now would think it's all made up. "And everyone just went along with it!? Not one person tried to stop him? Yeah, totally believable..." 010
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Okay, but did anybody in the room have the courage to say "uh, sir... you don't actually have the authority to do that..." 000
Michel Chartrand @michelchartrand.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I asked, basically, "why are we (currently) paying the same price for worse service?" 000
