I imagine it's a hobby/job where you spend a lot of time alone ( focus+getting things done), and you gotta wrestle that with the need to having to go out and connect with people. The Internet also keeps shifting too fast, so does IRL over 10+ years :(

I'd recommend games that are primarily voice acted and have subtitles for most encounters. I remember learning a lot of words with Spyro 2/3 as a little ESL kid. It's just a bummer Portuguese voiced games are harder to track down. Maybe the Sly games are in PT-PT
