One of my undergrad creative writing professors told me once that I would never get an MFA in creative writing. He had a PEN/Faulkner nominee and wouldn't shut up about it. It was middling disaffected trash and his opinion was also trash. Don't let them say you can't. #WritingCommunity #writer
