Would you consider making it easier to download a .zip file of an entire site? Some of us want to browse ancient internet forums, and doing that on the Wayback site itself doesn't work. I want to take the whole site snapshot and reorganize it into a read-only database so it can actually be browsed.

I think this is going to be true of any "dangerously competent" person. If we stick to people that right wing media doesn't cause a big stir about, that's just letting them choose the candidate. I agree it's a hard battle due to how many people are captivated by what the media says.

I can't get past the paywall, but if you are exchanging information over the internet, we already don't trust our ISPs, and we don't really need to rely on them for any kind of encryption. You use encryption between endpoints, the connecting tunnel doesn't matter.

I guess to me it looks like best case is we're in the phase of "it's worse before it gets better". Old school Google generates better information than AI Google, but the people trying to lure investors keep promising that it's definitely going to be way better some day.

Nah, it was just plain Chrome. This was after they repeatedly insisted that child profiles can't be used if wifi is off, but I reproduced it several times. I may try to get through to them again another time.

I shit you not, I am in a chat with Amazon customer service and they sent me to an Amazon web page that is meant to be used so I can upload images to the support agent. The "Add Photo" button... it's not a button, it's just a picture of a button. Clicking it does nothing.

Okay, who works for Amazon? We got our child the Amazon Fire tablet. It even has parental controls, which are required, awesome. If you turn off the wifi, the parental restrictions go away and they can just do anything. Why does restricting stuff require wifi? Can someone just change that?
