Here is a short video of me painting a small buon fresco study of a cherub originally painted by Renaissance master Raphael. Buon fresco is an ancient technique of painting onto freshly spread / wet lime plaster. #fresco #art #painting #cherub #figurepainting #figuredrawing #angel #frescopainting

I created this drawingusing silverpoint, which means I drew it with a small silver wire. Silverpoint is similar to graphite drawing but instead of depositing graphite on the page a bit of silver residue rubs off on the paper. #drawing #figuredrawing #art #contemporaryrealism #silverpoint #painting

"Evince" an airbrushed buon fresco I painted in 2023. Buon fresco is an ancient technique of painting onto wet plaster, before it cures/dries. It's the technique Michelangelo used to paint the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. Thanks for looking! #art #fresco #buonfresco #painting #portraitart
