Weird waking up to not get on a train to NYCC after doing so for 3 days straight...but... Go Birds! 🦅

This (large stack of) Comics & Coffee brought to you by #NYCC. (And I still need to hit my LCS today for last week's books 😲)

Two comic books rest on a flat surface alongside a couple items. The top comic on the stack on the left, Gun Honey: Doubles Down, shows a woman in a black outfit holding a gun, drawn and signed by Tehani Farr, with a small white label reading “#3K” on its protective sleeve. On top of the stack next to that is a black‑and‑white Absolute Batman #24 comic featuring the lead character surrounded by monstrous faces, drawn and signed by Simon Bisley in white ink. A New York Comic Con badge labeled “Thursday” is partially tucked under the comic. In the foreground, two frosted strawberry pop-tarts sit on a paper towel next to a glass of light brown coffee.

She had a ton of great art. Got this piece for my niece who loves the character. Adding her to my commissions list. Great stuff.

Dude, 1,000%. His Conan run at Titan got me back into physical books. And everything he's putting out is🔥. Looking forward to this new Omen Bound from Image. Cannot wait.

A old school, cream-colored lightbox sign with black slide‑in letters spelling "YA’LL NEED COMICS", sitting on a black shelf.

That's bonkers. Krakoan Age, this...it doesn't necessarily bode well for plans for Midnight. But, let's see.

Following this thread close. I'm not a big fan of "moving the cheese" but if webtoon puts up a better search interface that'll be the selling point for me. Current MU is *horrible* at search.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), the last scene where Donald Sutherland points to Veronica Cartwright and that high-pitched scream comes out. Truly scary as a kid.
