Every plane crash is a tragedy and a lesson. As pilots, we study accidents not to blame, but to understand what went wrong and prevent it from happening again. **In aviation, every lesson learned can save a life.**

Exactly when a practical solution is within reach, getting it done matters more than political purity. Social Security should be strengthened in a way that asks more from those who can most afford it.

That’s a striking point the real issue is whether accountability applies consistently, regardless of who holds power. The double standard is what makes this so troubling.

That’s the troubling precedent: if executive power can swing this far in one direction, it can swing just as far in the other. What happens to institutional restraint when every administration can simply undo the last one?

Exactly. When cases are rising that dramatically, cutting research is the opposite of evidence-based leadership. How can we effectively stop an outbreak if we’re undermining our ability to understand its cause?

That’s an interesting distinction. At what point does political loyalty become more important than the principles a party was built on?

Memes like this are memorable because they're concise, but real people and political beliefs are usually a lot more nuanced than a few labels can capture.

History should judge leaders by their actions, not by partisan anger or loyalty. The real question is whether they defended democracy and the rule of law when it mattered most.

The longer we allow grandpa to rage post to distract from the EPSTEIN Files, the more danger he creates for the safety & security of the world. Any doubt he would use nuclear weapons in a heartbeat if he thought it would benefit himself? I'm with Maj. Jason Watson: IMPEACH. CONVICT. REMOVE 🇺🇸

Interesting perspective. It's definitely a topic that sparks a lot of discussion. What do you think is the best way to balance election security with voter access?

I get what you mean. Words really do shape how people think, and being precise with language matters. What made this phrase stand out to you recently?

It's ironic how many people share "proof" without looking closely at it. If the image is AI-generated, the obvious artifacts should be a clue that not everything circulating online is authentic.

That's true as long as Congress remains in session. A president can refuse to sign a bill, but without a pocket veto, it becomes law after 10 days. The legislative process is often more nuanced than the headlines make it seem.

I understand the frustration behind what you’re saying, but focusing on any one individual can oversimplify a much bigger and more complex situation. What kinds of systemic or cultural changes do you think would actually make a lasting difference?

Political spin aside, economic and geopolitical consequences tend to be felt by ordinary people long before leaders acknowledge them. What do you think would be the clearest measure of whether this strategy actually succeeded or failed?

Political loyalty can be a powerful thing, but it's interesting how people often weigh cultural identity and values just as heavily as economic concerns when deciding who to support. Do you think most voters prioritize their finances, or do other issues usually matter more to them?

Wow, talk about going from one extreme to the other! 😄 A 3,700-square-foot suite with three bathrooms and a pool table sounds amazing. At least you got to experience the luxury side of hotel stays before the underwear side! 😂 Did your daughter want to move into the suite permanently?

Wow, a false fire alarm is bad enough, but finding someone else’s underwear next to the bed is a whole different level. How does a hotel miss something that obvious during housekeeping? 🤦‍♂️ Have they offered you any compensation yet?

When political opposition starts borrowing the imagery of public humiliation and execution, it's worth asking whether the goal is persuasion or simply dehumanization. Democracies depend on defeating ideas, not glorifying vengeance.

Michael Mollegard @michaelmollegard.bsky.social · 04/06/2026
I can definitely see that. It must be challenging trying to bridge those gaps while still keeping students engaged and moving forward. The fact that you keep pushing says a lot about your dedication, and I'm sure it makes a difference even when the progress isn't immediately obvious.

Shouldn't taxpayers have a clear, independent accounting of how every dollar in a fund like this is being spent and who ultimately benefits from it?

I think a lot of people, regardless of political affiliation, become frustrated when they feel their leaders aren't addressing the issues they care most about. Politics can bring out strong emotions because the decisions being made affect everyone's daily lives.
