Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 20/01/2026Maintenance on the #jellyfin server last night led me to pay this small tribute in the 'Collections' image to a video store I was so lucky to live 'around the corner' from for many of my years in Toronto, Suspect Video. 000

Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 06/12/2025Sometimes you walk into your favourite bar after a long shift to say hi to friends and the HR person who fired you from your last job for speaking up about a drunk driving incident that should have ended the entire business is there and you just go home and consider moving away to the moon. 🤞🌚 🤏 000

Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 30/09/2025I recorded a new album inspired by a local landmark I often use as a marker on my wanderings (it's exactly 1 km from my home). You can grab it free from this link, I'll eventually have it up on streaming at a later date. we.tl/t-Ct6G2K4zK9 010
Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 29/09/2025I (think) I saw a UFO as a kid and I finally got to speak about it at length on the back half of Episode 353 of ufochroniclespodcast.com , which came out yesterday. Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 25/09/2025Went for a midnight run because I was restless and I came across 4 or 5 skunks throughout the neighborhood. The only witnesses to my fitness-es and I'm trying to dodge them.. 000
Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 24/09/2025Interesting likely to just me, after using Last.fm to scrobble (track) my listening habits over the past 20 years, the years I was working in community radio, initially with TRP then CJRU (now CJMT) had the least scrobbles (2014-2019). I was mega overstretched and rarely listened to anything alone. 110
Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 22/09/2025I know there's already a flag for the City Of Guelph but it should be redesigned more accurately to feature a short man driving a massive truck. 021

Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 12/09/2025What are the odds either of the city council for this side of town use our totally unreliable and somewhat random public transit to get to a time specific event, like an appointment? Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 21/08/2025the review, I think I romanticised this doc more than I should have simply due to having such a hard time trying to find it 20 years later. letterboxd.com/michaelknewt...letterboxd.comA ★★★½ review of Go Tigers! (2001)This is a bit of a weird one mostly because I've been trying to track this down for years. I originally would have rented this sometime in the early to mid 2000's from Suspect Video, on Markham Street... 010
Michael @michaelknewton.bsky.social · 21/08/2025I don't and have never cared about American Football but I rented this doc from Suspect (rip) in the early 2000s and loved it and have been trying to hunt it down for years.
