But voters are deeply split on their confidence in the Government to deliver these reforms and that should be no surprise - the public remain sceptical about the ability of politicians to deliver change generally and education is no different.

Very pleased to see Public First's report into voter attitudes on education policy published today. In an age of quite intense division and polarisation in public policy, it's remarkable to see Burnham's proposals to reform education supported by voters of every persuasion and even non-voters.

The report brings together qualitative and quantitative research with parents, school staff, young people and youth workers. It helps deepen our understanding of how online conspiracy beliefs, misinformation and disinformation are showing up both inside and outside the classroom.
