Hello. I'm a bit tired and grumpy. I always struggle this time of year, with the fading light. Spring is my favourite season. But I console myself that I don't have bombs falling on my head, and that I'm not starving,... #SlavaUkraini #Ukraine #freepalesti̇ne #weekend #bandcampfriday

The ivy flowers, absolutely buzzing this afternoon. You can sort of hear it over the sound of my footsteps crunching slate. There were ivy bees, honey bees, bumblebees, hoverflies, wasps, bluebottles and more. Amazing. #ivy #ivyflowers #wildlife #bees #pollinatorfriendly

What film am I in? Back to the Fuchsia! Ahem. Back in the garden of Jane Delawney. The Salvia bed is even more splendid and floriferous. Engage smell-o-vision now. The Elaeagnus is flowering again. #ukgardening #flowers #blodau #salvia ##thegardenofjanedelawney

The ivy flowers are out and fair buzzing with insects of all sorts. Erigeron karvinskianus (Mexican fleabane) still flowering profusely as it has been since spring. Runner bean 'Scarlet Emperor' flowers still coming. A further Fairy flush. #ukgardening #flowers #blodau #autumn #autumnflowers

Nasturtiums are having an early autumn resurgence. Some lovely colours today. It was the chilliest day in a long while. 5 degrees by my car's reckoning. So I layered up, then the sun came out, so I layered down again. #ukgardening #nasturtiums #flowers #blodau #sunnyday

Autumn has understood the assignment. A chilly, dewy, delightful morning. The rain seems to be bringing all the fungis out. Little brown jobs this morning. Boletes, ceps, porcini, penny buns in abundance. Field mushroom. Delicious on toast. #ukgardening #viewfromtheoffice #autumn #hydref #fungi
