This seemed fun and felt very powerful. A rare *glimpse*, actual VIDEO, of me acting. 😊 🎙️

Really embarrassed to have to plug this, but my tablet is giving up the ghost. They no longer sell mine and the next model closest in design to it is a little higher in price than I'd hoped. 1/2

Here's my take on what the cover of Monster World IV might have looked like had it been released overseas in 1994. Included the original Japanese cover as comparison. Used the art style of previous "Westernised" covers of the Wonder Boy games series as inspiration.

I've opened commissions back up due to unfortunate circumstances that have recently taken place. But in order to soften things up, I've cut down the prices of the commissions. Feel free to DM me if you want something.

Here's an animated sequence I've been on since the 30th of December. A few scenes for a completed animation for a cartoon of Hedley and Smedley, which is currently in the works.

Animation I did for a Hanna-Barbera inspired project im working on with friends based on characters created by ourselves. I did this on a whim today despite no prior animation experiences keeping with the limitations Hanna-Barbera had in the early 60s. I gotto say Im pleased with the final result.

A three-piece set commissioned by me, drawn by @michaelfrancis.bsky.social, as an indirect tribute to the '90s film, #Pagemaster.

"Escape from Freebooter Keep"

The Wellhams are floating in a currently disabled sailboat amidst a choppy sea, a small chest of riches between them. Meanwhile, a pirate named Raven pursues them in a schooner.

"FRATRICIDE"

Taylor Zander is trapped in a haunted house where she's confronted by two fiendish phantoms: one being Mortimer Gravely and the other being the ghost of Taylor's wickedly crazed half-sister, Bianca Navarro.

"Knights of Lagomorphia: The Pieutiran Alliance"

The Amethyst and Cerulean Knights are on a perilous quest in the mountains to rescue the fair maiden, Julia, from the clutches of a ferocious wyvern.

Good. I'm only just starting out and I'm not having some jack-holes with more money than I'll ever see in my lifetime taking a piece of the pie I'm baking that they made NO contribution to!

Taylor Zander's October episode was one I thought was going to be a nightmare. Its 16 pages instead of the usual 8. But I've gunned it, and a month and a half of work doing all the pencils turned out to be a mere 12 days. I still have ink and colour to do but that takes less time than pencil.

I've never drawn Tifa before... #fanart #tifa #ff7

Digital illustration of Tifa from Final Fantasy VII. She's standing in front of a Mako reactor, looking upwards, ready for fight.
I went for the original model because I prefer the anime artstyle in the original game over the more realistic one in the remake I'm currently playing.

I dont mind either way if people like or don't like the comics I'm making. Ill continue to put my all into them as always, but as long as people are talking about them one way or another, it has all been worth it.

Just woke up to see someone call me an AI artist. Please excuse me while I hysterically laugh my rage away

Only just figured how to do panel templates on photoshop. Had I figured this out a year ago, I'd have been doing Taylor 2 digitally from Page 50.

I'm supposed to be working. Can someone please explain to me how I ended up sat on my sofa watching Russian cartoons?

I can never hate a bad cash-grab animated film that'd come out whenever Disney made one again. Why? With the crap I've heard about AI recently, people saying "We can programme any old junk and people will watch it" and "artists can get a real job" etc. Those bad films? At least people MADE them.

If you critique my artwork by saying a character looks disproportionate or a building is misaligned, I'll fix it. If you tell me to use AI to fix it, I'll leave it in. Someone asked me why recently, and I told them "because when you see it, you'll know it was MY mistake".

Taylor Zander episodes for April and May are fully written. Gonna see how many more I can get finalised by the end of the month. The comic WILL be finished by the end of the year, tho. I'm sure of THAT.

My mum, having seen what I've recently been doing for February, asked: "if you're gonna draw someone knocked out, can't they at least go down with dignity?" "Yes", I said... then I drew this scene.

There comes a point in your life where you draw two of your friends heads getting bashed together that you have to stop and think: "I have a WEIRD job!!"

Freedom of Speech doesn't mean Freedom from Consequence. If you say something stupid, horrible or offensive, don't act all surprised when people call you out for it. Freedom of Speech goes both ways. If you think Freedom of Speech applies just to you, THAT'S NOT FREEDOM OF SPEECH...
