The closest I came to actually meeting Ms. Parton, was on a roadtrip in 2023; had to make a pit stop with my driving buddy, in Tennessee. Waiting in the rest stop lobby, was her beaming presence (as a promotional cardboard stand-up figure). I'll bet they've all but disappeared... Rest In Power.
