To add to this type of use, I heard of a proposal for using resynthesis with L2 learning and shy students who may not practice in front of others. As a former language learner I'm not sure I would personally have used this (seems kinda uncanny to hear yourself like that 😅)

The Dutch language courses do seem quite expensive for a student - 500e just for A1 in the 3 week intensive at Amsterdam. That is the already discounted price.

From visits to relatives in Scotland I don't think it's a problem, you'll generally get three opinions: one doesn't care, one finds it pretentious/cringe, and one likes people wearing them as long as it's worn properly. It's a formal ceremony anyway, and you went to Edinburgh so it makes sense to me

Not too many problems in my previous study conducted (November), only one seemed to be somewhat odd but the rest matched expectations and performed similarly to in-person participants.

Our findings show a way of using a simple ratio to gather language specific information. It shows that creaky tokens and pitch jumps can be useful and not errors, at least if you're measuring glottal pulses. Come speak to me in Rotterdam to learn more! 😊 /End

...This was especially fun because the two datasets are really different, with one being conversational and the other structured. We didn't do much filtering or adjustment of the data, so with even more controlled datasets we expect even better results.
