Delighted to see progress on this attempt to highlight the lives of regular people in our city. Glad to work with DUP and SDLP cllrs to make this happen!

Green Roofs for St Paddy's Day. Last week, I took a bus up the Shankill to see the first green bus stop roofs in the city. I am delighted to say these will also be coming to East Belfast in the next year- to the Cregagh And Castlereagh Roads, as well as Holywood Road..

It is not! I, too, had a Jaguar at home, and it was a disaster!!

Glad to support a proposal for the car for the Lord Mayor to be electric, cheaper than the previous one, and with a longer range.

Where else would you go for breakfast after Canada beats the US in hockey?

The notice for the expanded kerbside glass recycling routes in Lisnasharragh, Ormiston, Black Mountain and Colin are now hitting 23k doorsteps. Proof that Alliance works- our proposal for £500k last year led to this rollout, and the rest of the expansion will be completed in a maximum of 2 years

Positive meeting to hear about some positive developments on Belfast Bikes. More details to follow, but what do you think would help?

The new container arrived at Cherryvale yesterday for Bredagh GAC. Delighted it has been delivered in time for Christmas and pleased to have proposed that this went ahead. Delighted that this makes 3 for the year in Lisnasharragh with others delivered at Bloomfield FC and Cregagh Wanderers.

I sat on the La Mon committee in Castlereagh BC. Hed the privilege to meet those injured and the families of victims. Frustrating that the goal of finding out what happened still seems unmet. Thinking of all the families affected by this atrocity today.

Totally agree. The Glider is what all buses should be like- frequent, reliable and disabled friendly

As Chair of the City Centre Working Group, invited City Night Czar, Michael Stewart, to come in & highlight his work on the nighttime economy in the City Centre. Agreed nighttime buses year round, tackling violence against women girls & reviving Culture Night are all vital.

A very sad situation. Attending a Pride march should be no reason to be excluded. The Presbyterian Church in Ireland is a disgrace for hounding out someone who, like Jesus, reached out to all people.

On Radio Ulster this morning, talking congestion & bus services. Lack of planning but DFI on roadworks & focus on cars is the major issue. Also, highlighted the pilot late night Christmas late night service. Unfortunately, they didn't use the clips of me talking to myself on the Glider yesterday!

Last night at Council, High Sheriff Sammy Douglas and I spoke to our motion on highlighting epilepsy and welcoming the fact Council have agreed to provide training for Cllrs and staff on how to deal with epileptic seizures.

The political nerd in me is asking who in FG decided upon candidate numbers? They seem to have chucked lots of seats away! #GE24

Proud uncle moment as we watch Sid and the Guestlist supporting the Blossoms at Manchester Apollo. Next concert is Zayn, whilst the Manic St Preachers and the Pixies are up in the next few months. Not sure where the musical talent is coming from, but I was in the Sullivan Singers!!

A privilege to attend the funeral service for Anna Lo. Her other name was Manwah- which means 'splendid'. Such a great word to describe such a wonderful person.

Belfast's historic tiled street signs are so distinctive. BCC sourcing funding to restore them. Have asked that future city centre signs would be universally in this format. Makes signage consistent & could highlight historic sites & entries to tell the rich city centre history.
