Subdued by city lights, but still some aurora action in south Calgary! #yyc #aurora

Happy October to those who celebrate. Looking out my home office window, I can see just the beginnings of colour changes on the rowan berry tree in my front yard. 🍂

Photo cropped by the edge of a window looking outside at a rowan berry tree just starting to show fall colouring.

Out for eldest kiddo’s Cross-Country race this morning in Cochrane. Can never get enough of those mountain views … a lovely morning for a run! #cochrane #crosscountryrunning #caltaf #rockies

Kiddo closing out our very first season of formula karting. Learned a lot and had so much fun! Looking forward to the next season. #formulakarting #karting #lo206 #ckrc

Dang! Missed the Vitamin D one, which I kinda thought during the test. Fun and useful! Nice, will be sharing this.

Not just young racers. Yes, it me.

Me, definitely not a “young driver”, practising race craft at CKRC.

Yes! These aren’t as tall as yours, but still inspiring when looking upwards through to the sky. Taken a couple years ago out near Two Jack Lake (Banff, ish).

Photo looking up through a small clearing in the forest with a partially cloudy but sunny sky poking through.

Two of three kiddos doing barrel runs for the first time on new horses this afternoon. Did great! 🐎 Third kiddo watched from the stands, nursing a broken collarbone from being bucked off two weeks ago. 🫠🤷🏻‍♂️ #barrelracing

Oldest kiddo rounding 2nd barrel of a barrel race, tail flying.

Middle kiddo coming up to 2nd barrel of a barrel race, in a stately trot.
