🍭 overwhelmed

An illustration of my character Aka, leaning over the edge of her bed to observe the mess around her room. the light of a clear blue sky is behind her, though she is covered in lilac shadows, a yellow-lit cigarette the only thing illuminating her face. All the clutter is so cute and colorful in appearance, but Aka's face suggests something more dire in expression.

description:
trying to illustrate the overwhelm of bedrotting with my character aka - i think she might be a little guilty of it herself... sleeping in till the afternoon, staying in bed all day, not remembering when you last showered, letting cans and bottles, bags and trinkets clutter the space to reflect the mind - only having the tiniest comb for hair twisted and tangled just about anywhere. the only thing one can stick to doing is cheap seratonin kicks and vices... it's a sorry state i feel myself getting into way too often lately and its harder to get out of than it looks, which makes it feel that much more humiliating to be in.
i tried to make this illustration sort of contradict its message in its visuals on purpose, cos i just like to trick the brain upon viewing.... like how bedrotting and depression in general is like a play of facade. 'im fine its fine' but its not fine. if you look closely at her face, youll know its not fine, but most wont look long enough to realize. the lock around her neck symbolizing feeling trapped.... cigarette in her mouth to... weirdly contrast the cutesy elements everywhere and show how one sticks to vices when theyre in survival mode. bad times...

A spring painting 🌸💕 #art

A young Korean woman paints ink flowers to create patterns on her tiger. There are scattered flower ink paintings around her. The top of the painting shows pink blooming plum blossoms to indicate spring has arrived.

Citron 🍋 Team tragedy!!! @cyellolemon.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

I finally found the time and energy to make something cleaner 3 days ago, My family and especially my brother lost a lot because of the cyclone Garance, i have discounted commissions open on Vgen or through dm vgen.co/Cyellolemon Other ways to support me below 🔽 Shares are rly appreciated

"Hi! I'm Citron, from Reunion Island,
We recently went through the cyclone garance that did a lot of damages.
I'm living in one of the most affected areas, and the the ceiling and part of the roof fell off in my brother's room, (see last pic) he lost most of his stuff

We also lost a lot of food due to the power outage, and had to do emergency food and water purchases that were expensive (life is already expensive here and nobody at home has a job)

I'd like to support my family with these emergency commissions! I would really appreciate if you could share and consider a commission from me

I have my usual other commissions (rendered, flat colored and sketches) open for the usual prices too, I will link it below

I also currently has tendonitis so i may be slow with commissions, kindly asking you to be patient!

As for the other ways to support me, I have a kofi for donations, and a Patreon where i post everything earlier, exclusive art and more"

"Simple icons: 20 usd (instead of 30) 2 for 30usd" with 2 icon examples
"Chibi: 25usd (instead of 40) 2 for 40usd" with 1 chibi example

"Pay what you want comms" "pay any amount from 5usd and get something like these!

You can let me full freedom or be a little more specific on what you'd like

minimum price for a colored artwork would be 10usd, same for 2 characters
(i can draw as many characters as you want and depending on what you pay!)" with 5 art examples

A messy room with a big hole on the ceiling and roof, and foam insulation everywhere, with a drawing of me saying "You give me money and I give you some cool art of the character(s) you want"
