The only silver lining of not being able to stream for so long is I guess we pulling Aglea on stream in a couple days.

His voice is one of the main factors that made this game so incredibly recognizable and iconic. I still sometimes quote his lines from these games on autopilot. Love goes out to his family and friends. His work touched the hearts of thousands.

"Go with grace into the great beyond..." We at Red Hook are heartbroken to confirm the passing of our beloved voice actor, Wayne June.

An image of the faces of The Ancestor from Darkest Dungeon, and The Academic from Darkest Dungeon II. A torch glows between their two faces. The images reads: "Ancestor, Academic, Artist & friend. Wayne June. Twelve years ago, Tyler and I reached out to Wayne, humbly asking him to narrate our indie game’s trailer. Since those magical moments when we first paired his reading with the footage, it has been an incredible and fulfilling collaboration. Wayne’s singular baritone and masterful cadence elevated everything he read. He was a consummate professional, and his love of his craft was an inspiration. His inimitable work is woven into the very fabric of our industry in a way that cannot be forgotten.

It is one of my life’s greatest honors to have written for him this past decade. Though I never got to shake his hand, I knew him to be a friend.

Thank you, Wayne.

-Chris Bourassa, for Tyler Sigman and the Red Hook team"

Decided to Stream Star Rail 3.0 after all. Hope I see you there in a mo ^^ Goin for Herta then heading into the Main story!

000

Micael the Scufftuber @micaelscuff.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

Of course I support the ongoing strike. Can't say it enough but fuck AI in artistic fields. Doesn't make this any less frustrating tho... How are you guy planning to handle this..? Should I stream anyway or do something else entirely?

000

Micael the Scufftuber @micaelscuff.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

Can't swap to JP/KR/CN voice over either. I know people who don't really WATCH but rather LISTEN to my streams so having JP voice over then reading the dialogue aloud AGAIN would be a mess...

100

Micael the Scufftuber @micaelscuff.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

So my options are basically a subpar at best experience with 3.0 or being spoiled the whole thing unless I seal myself away from the whole frickin web for one and a half months...

100

Micael the Scufftuber @micaelscuff.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

Just learned that basically both MCs are entirely unvoiced for 3.0. Put a massive damper on my hype for this version... Kinda makes me want to wait but that'd just means I'd get spoiled everything cause people can't shut up about the story for even a day after a patch drops ._.
