Max Eberl: "In the first half, we didn't create many chances, but we stayed calm and knew we'd get our opportunities. It was clear that it wouldn't be easy. But then we got better into the game and scored, exactly as we had planned, down the wing with a deep run."

Josip Stanišić: "We were too sloppy up front. Unfortunately, we didn't get much out of many situations, but you could see that everyone wanted to. At the end of the day, we made two crucial mistakes in our last two Bundesliga games."

• Bayern had so many corners (14), but almost all were taken to the near post and nothing came out of them. What was the reason for that? Kompany: "No, we took corners to the near post, middle and far post. That has been very successful for us this season."

Vincent Kompany: "It was a game of two stories. There's the performance and there's the result. When we don't take 3 points, we're disappointed with the result, that's very simple. But I've been in football long enough to know that this wasn't a bad performance away from home."

Sané on his future and whether he wants to stay at Bayern: "Yes, we'll see what happens. Max Eberl has already spoken about that"

Leroy Sané: "We knew it would be difficult here. They defend very well, the [pitch] condition is not the best, they're uncomfortable to face. We tried our best and scored the first goal. Their equaliser hurt. But we have to carry on"
