Finally getting past that chapter must feel so satisfying. 74K words is already a huge draft too. What genre is TLR, by the way?

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Lmaooo 13k words sounds so much smaller until you see it as 50+ pages That’s definitely a perspective shift! How long do you think the one-shot will end up being?.

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

70K words edited into polished work is huge. Even if you’re behind on the wordcount, that’s still a ton of progress. What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most?

I love the idea of showing their friendship through something as simple as writing fanfiction together before everything gets messy. It makes the later drama feel like it has more emotional weight. What kind of fanfiction were Bekah and Katie writing together?

This has such a strong Southern Gothic atmosphere. The contrast between the narrator’s complicated feelings and their deep love for the South really comes through. What inspired you to explore that complicated relationship with the South in the story?

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Ooh, that sounds like such an interesting structure! Starting with the tragedy and then revealing the choices that led up to it through the requiems would definitely keep me hooked. What was the inspiration behind telling Queen Disaya’s story in this way?

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

6,004 words? That’s a solid writing day. Glad the cooler weather made it easier to settle in and get some work done too. What part of the writing are you working on right now?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

That must feel so good 😂 After being stuck in that scenario for three years, your characters finally getting close to the snow mountain arc sounds like a huge milestone. 👀 What are you most excited about writing once they reach the mountains?

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Ohh, I see! That sounds like such a fun format to work on. 👀 If you ever decided to commission a custom card for yourself, which Pokémon or type of mtg card would you want to have made?

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Looking for MTG players. I’ve been getting more into Commander lately, and I’m slowly starting to understand the hype For those who use precons, what’s been your favorite one so far? #mtg #magicthegathering #mtgcommunity

010

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Ohh, I see. That actually makes a lot more sense now. The custom Pokémon cards are such a cool idea though! Did you design the cards and their abilities yourself for the Safari game or did you commissioned it?

110

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

ohhh Tetsuya finally showing up after everything went sideways and the fact that he already knows his way around the castle?? Okayyy, what exactly does he have planned?

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

You definitely don’t need an agency for this. I’m a digital artist and I’d be happy to help with the logo. I can work within your budget and we can discuss the style, usage rights, and timeline beforehand so everything’s clear.

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Oh wow, 15 decks is actually a lot, and 6 of them being for Commander sub-formats makes me realize there’s way more to MTG than I thought. Do you have any plans to make an alternate version of a card? And if so, which card would you choose?

110

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Ahh, I meant fully customized cards with their own artwork and rule text. I’ve seen the art customizations before, but not many with completely custom abilities. And Wernog + Hargilde sound like a fun pair for a new table haha. How many decks do you, just out of curiosity

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Looking for MTG players. I’ve been getting more into Magic lately, and Commander is definitely becoming my favorite format 👀 What’s a Commander you never get tired of playing? Also, does anyone have a custom card in their deck? #mtg #magicthegathering #mtgcommunity

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Ohh, that’s actually pretty cool. Having your D&D characters as proxies sounds like such a fun idea Have you ever thought about getting them properly illustrated? I feel like they’d look really nice as custom art.

010

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

That makes sense. Do you usually end up adding a lot when you go back through your notes, or is it mostly editing and cutting things down?

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

2k words already is impressive. What genre are you working on for this WIP?

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Looking for MTG players! 🃏 Commander has definitely caught my attention. What’s one thing you wish you knew when you first started playing? #mtg #magicthegathering #mtgcommunity #gamedev

i can be a great fit for you then bro, HMU

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Oh, I meant like customizing the cards yourself, btw. Hey, have you ever had a custom card made for you?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Oh wow, 8 Commander decks and 7 of them are precons? That’s quite a collection haha. And the ones you’re currently working on, are you customizing them yourself?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Thank you so much for your advice, also lmk how many decks do you have?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

wow, did your commission this?

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I’m pretty new to MTG, so I don’t know a whole lot yet, but Commander looks really cool, and I’m definitely interested in trying it out. Do you have any advice for a beginner like me?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

wbu? do you have writer's block too?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Looking for MTG players! I’m pretty new to Magic: The Gathering and still figuring things out 😂 What’s one card or deck you’d recommend a beginner check out? #mtg #magicthegathering #mtgcommunity #gamedev

161

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Ugh, I am having writer's block rn. What are you mostly working on rn? like the one you are most excited about?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Ohhh okay, now I’m following 😂 A secret KGB sleeper-agent operation that supposedly got scrapped but secretly kept going… yeah, I’d definitely start questioning everyone too 👀 Evelyn really got herself into a whole mess haha.

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Looking for writers with a song that fits their WIP What song would be on your story’s soundtrack? 👀 Mine would definitely be something dramatic 😂 #writingcommunity #authors #indieauthor #gamedev

173

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Great, Are you currently working on something?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Ohhh, so everyone has secrets then. That sounds like it could get complicated really fast haha. Do the different agencies end up working together, or are they mostly against each other?

110

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

I’m pretty much the opposite I usually do everything digitally, especially since I’m always working on my computer. But I can definitely see why editing on paper feels different. Do you find you catch more mistakes that way?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Ohh, I get that. There’s something about seeing your thoughts physically on paper that makes them feel more real. Do you usually write your first drafts by hand too, or just ideas and notes?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Looking for writers who love adding little details to their stories A tiny object, a random line of dialogue, or some background detail that somehow end up becoming important later. What’s a small detail from your WIP that you’re especially proud of? #writingcommunity #authors #indieauthor #gamedev

0112

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Cough be damned indeed 1200 words AND another GotG chapter edited is a pretty solid writing day. Hope your flight goes smoothly tomorrow though, especially since you’re still feeling rough. Are you planning to write during the flight or just relax and recover?

110

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Ooh, this one really makes you think I definitely feel like writing can make your thoughts much clearer. Do you find that you understand an idea better once you’ve actually written it down?

100

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Ooh, a heartfelt sibling scene sounds interesting 👀 Now you’ve got me curious—are these siblings already known characters, or are they new characters we haven’t met yet? 🥹✨

000

Mila Rose @mialrose02.bsky.social · 15/08/2026
