Using Obsidian and Drafts Together

When using a Mac for writing, I'm all in on the notes app Obsidian, a plain text/Markdown editor. With it, I use various plugins to create a personalized workspace that provides me with all the...

That's great! Obsidian is excellent for creating a personalized workspace. I experiment with plugins, keeping only those I find truly useful. My priority is to avoid reliance on them with a file-over-app approach. I'm currently exploring LLM plugins, do you have any recommendations?

zen_browser's convenience factor is what finally got me to switch from Chromium to Gecko. Highly recommend! First Firefox based browser that won me over. I use Brave from time to time. Honorable mentions: Vivaldi - Floorp - Thorium - LibreWolf Waiting for @ladybirdbrowser 2026!

[Final Part] I'm rebellious by nature. Always want to challenge the status quo. Don't want an easy life. Ironically, life keeps giving me ease. But now? I'm deliberately choosing difficulty. No clear goal. Just flowing. Changing. Growing.

MHMD @mhmd.blog · 09/12/2024

[Part 5] Moved to the countryside. Middle of nowhere. Farming lands. No transportation. Nights alone with just dogs and bugs. Painfully uncomfortable. But this is exactly what I wanted.

MHMD @mhmd.blog · 09/12/2024

[Part 4] First teaching assignment? A dream. Brand new school. My own classroom. Best students possible. But me? I thought, "This is too easy." So I sought an even greater challenge.

110

MHMD @mhmd.blog · 09/12/2024

[Part 3] Decision time: I needed discomfort. Paradoxically, I'm great at seeking challenges. Quit my bank job. Applied to be a primary school teacher. Didn't even prepare for the exam. And yet? I got it.

110

MHMD @mhmd.blog · 09/12/2024

[Part 2] Landed a bank job. Stable income. Supporting family. Meeting important people. From the outside, life looked ideal. But inside? I felt like a robot. Just another pawn in the economic machine. Comfortable, but not living.

From the office 💼 to the classroom 🥼. [Part 1] Growing up, I had it easy. Parents were soft, always gave me what I wanted. Never really struggled. Passed degrees without much effort. Got jobs without hard work. Sounds perfect, right? 🤔 But something was missing...

2/ I used to believe I led a relatively easy life, so I decided to transfer to a remote school in the countryside. Here, transportation options are scant, leaving me surrounded only by expansive farmlands and a few dogs..

1/ I've been focusing on challenging myself to embrace discomfort, and I believe I’m making some painful progress.

Had a classic #ADHD moment: Woke up and immediately rearranged my entire room before breakfast. Now the executive function crashed and I'm staring at piles of stuff I can't organize 🙃

A pile of books and furniture and random stuff in a room.
