One of the things i do these days, laser engraved and painted jewellery boxes. This one is still in progress, with some hungarian folk motifs

Just got this in a newsletter. What a nonsense?! Should we allow ai to participate in a maths competition? An excavator in a hand digging competition? A synth in a violin concerto? And no, this is not like photography, far worse

Lasercut, dovetailed, sliding top box, own design. This is the first one, some measurements needs to be refined, other than that, im satisfied with it. This one will probably end up as a guitar pick box for my son though :)

We were at a festival, listening to classical music played by two elderly men. Wonderful. Then a sound technician runs there and asks them to shut it because the SLAM POETS down the road are fussing about the music being too loud. They started early, the concert has 20more minutes Not happy

Saturday morning, probably the last cover page update for Ahu's First Patrol. Page count's set, so it's just small adjustments now. A solo 5e gamebook set in Kaung Pi. Guide Ahu through a land rooted Asian cultures. Late pledges close this week www.kickstarter.com/projects/mar... #ttrpg #dnd

Cover art for Ahu's First Patrol, a solo 5th Edition gamebook. Ahu, a young Harimauja catfolk warrior, rides an axebeak at a run through a flowering field, sword raised, shield strapped to the saddle. Behind them, snowy peaks rise beneath the Great Stone, a vast purple disk hanging in the sky over Kaung Pi.

Let's learn a bit more about L.O.R.E., our D&D x Final Fantasy Tactics inspired #ttrpg! Today we're looking at a snippet of the Primordial Origin, specifically a power of the Sky Element, a classic: Lightning Bolt! Electric damage is hard to get, ruled by primordial energy. More ⬇️

Gonna just c/p the text here:

Lightning Bolt
CL (5) Sky Power
Primordial, AoE, Environmental, Offense
Energy: 3, +1 per 1d8 damage or +10-ft. length
Range: Self
Components: Physical, Social
Duration: Instant
Targets: Beam (60 x 5 ft.)
You evoke an unstable burst of Energy in a snapping discharge as a Beam (60 x 5 feet). Make a Magic attack against the targets’ DEX Defense.
Strike. Deal 5d8 + Origin Modifier, Inflict Electrified (1 Turn).
Graze. Deal ½ strike damage.

Overcast. +1d8 damage/ +10-ft. length per Energy.

At CL (10), increase cost to 6 to create Chain Lightning:
Chain Lightning. After casting Lighting Bolt, you activate Chain Lightning as a Quick Magic reaction. Doing ends the bolt’s Beam and splits it into your Level Bonus projectiles with a range of 30 from the end of the Beam against creatures you choose.
Make a Magic attack against the targets’ DEX Defense.
Strike. Deal 4d10 + Origin Modifier Electric damage.

Overcast. +2d10 initial, +1d10 projectile damage, and +10-ft. length & +5-ft. projectile range per Energy.
