She is called 'Significant Signs' doily a design by Jessica Jacquemin. I found the pattern in Decorative Crochet Magazine No 85.
Made using size 20 thread in the shade Jade. It is 31.5cm diameter after blocking.She is called Astraea, a table cloth measuring 26.25cm in diameter after blocking.  I used size 30 thread in a Mocha Beige shade. Sadly no designer was credited. I found the pattern in Crochet Monthly  Magazine No 41, it is also in Magic Crochet Magazine No 23.This little dress is called 'Like A Pink Cloud Dress'. A design by Mon Petit Violon.  I used 100% cotton in 8Ply (DK), in a colour called claret. The 'Yak Sweater' a design by Mon Petit Violon. I made this using 100% wool in a 8 Ply (DK) yarn, the colour is called Carbon. The pattern is in the book Timeless Textured Baby Crochet by Vita Apala.

I love this hat, it is so comfy and warm, and an easy pattern to follow.

Found a knit 🧶 I started back in June 2024. As a learner, I may have 'bitten off more than I can stitch' , still giving it a whirl. I think it is alright, a few mishaps, still pleased. I intend it finished before October's end this year. #knitsky #learningknit #knitrocks #knittingaustralia

'Tis the day for photographing & recording finished craft 🧶 #crochet to be exact. 'Triangular Scarf Chalastre' designed by Claudia Tesar. Pattern is available on Ravelry. I experimented with a larger hook, as I wanted lighter, softer and more drape. I achieved my goal!

I have folded the scarf to form a long scarf falling at the front of the mannequin. It rolls around the back of the neck for warmth, and is pinned in the front to secure. 
This is a large scarf, purposefully made as such. Folded as in the photo, the points of the scarf pass the mannequins knees! 
The scarf measures after blocking 236.5cm x 126cm (93 inch x 49.5 inch).Triangular Scarf Chalastre, a design by Claudia Tesar.  
I have folded the scarf so the point falls at the front of the mannequin. The points of the triangle drape around the back of the neck for warmth and fall down the front.

Dahlia flower 'purple ball'. Part open flower still has the golden bud in the centre. It is a burgundy pinkish purple shade.Frangipani flowers, 'Fruit Salad'. Golden yellow centres with bright Relish pink petal tips and edges. It has an aroma similar to fruit salad.Ginger flower, 'Siam Shadow'. The top of the flower stem has large pink petals with brown 'painted' tips. The base of the pink petals has like little green dishes. Tint iris like lillies open in each one. One can be seen here, it is iris purple blue, with yellow streaked throat. There are more tiny lilies yet to open.Dahlia 'Apricot', a pretty delicate orange colour.

The brine is darker than the usual colour due to the coconut sugar used.Four jars of Pickles.  Two of bread and butter Pickles and two of Italian Pickled Peppers. Both made today, the 8th February, 2025. The Pickled Peppers are rather colourful due to three coloured capsicums (bell peppers) being used.  They are red, yellow and green.My scarf/shawl I am about to hook, it will be a handy make for our coming Winter. 
The pattern is called: Triangular Scarf Chalastre, designed by Claudia Tesar. The yarn is from Skip Rope Yarn Co.. The yarn variety is called So Twisted Sock, a 4 ply (fingering) weight yarn, the colour is called True Teal.

Drying dishes, looked out kitchen window only to see this Monitor Lizard (Goanna). 32` C at the moment, to reach 38`C. The slate pieces are approx. 30 x 20 cm (12 x 8in). This is one very big boy, about to shed some skin. 🌿🌱🦎 #gardening #gardeningAU #australianlife #rurallifeaustralia

His striped markings are only visible on his legs and toes. The skin on his body has started to lift and loosen, he is going to shed this old skin and will then show off his vibrant new colours.The head and shoulders of a big boy, Monitor Lizard.
