I’m left my Twitter home to be a bluebird long enough to say, READ THIS! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

For work reasons I’ve often had to read every NI newspaper cover to cover for years on end. We’re talking hundred and hundreds of times, thousands and thousands of articles. This is still the worst word-salad of half baked gibberish I’ve ever encountered: www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/norther...

I'm not sure she'd forgive me if I posted a video of her chasing a cat intruder round her house while calling him Billy Big Balls so this will do instead. Love animals, take the bus and make MLAs scared of you.

When my wife was at her most unwell former Councillor Linzi McLaren was - behind the scenes - INCREDIBLY kind & helpful Political unionism - esp the UUP and its supporters - should be awake at night asking itself how it managed to lose such a talent @amanda.ie @brendanjharkin.bsky.social

Just here to pass on the new episodes of this podcast on the murder of Katie Simpson. A few shocking revelations on who knew and appeared to silence those asking for Katie’s death to be investigated as murder & not suicide. Worth a listen & a share. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

@brendanjharkin.bsky.social For obvious reasons the term flag shagger is on trend just now. I’ve arrived here to ask, was it you who coined that glorious phrase?

Psst…NI folk. There’s something you need to know, but brace yourself for a shock. Ask your MLA/ MP this exact question: “how long will the waiting list for my local health treat’s Psychological Therapies Service be if I develop a severe mental health issue?” @amanda.ie #Belfast #NorthernIreland

If you want to gauge how a group really feels about sexual assault and sexual assault survivors, take a look back for the reactions when a beloved sports star is being accused…

Where were the protests, politician statements and concerns for survivors last March? Where’s the concern for the currently-collapsed mental health services survivors urgently need *right now*? Actions speak louder.

While we’re doing what we can through the council, the fact remains that NI Water is blocking access to our own land, and this needs to change. @shaneir.bsky.social has been campaigning for this for a long time and worth a follow to keep up with the campaign #ShareTheShore

I’ve created a @bsky.app List for NORTHERN IRELAND. It includes @bsky.app posters on politics, writers, journalists, artists, government bodies, commentators and more. It will grow over time, but it’s a good place to start. Please suggest any profiles you think I should include.
