Don’t, I’ve just started college and I’m enjoying it. I already survived one pandemic and e-learning I don’t want to get back 😥

This is a great feature I’d love to see it in other Bluesky clients, especially @mu.social. I think it would be a great ux improvement. I use an Apple shortcut that @dame.is made to generate alt text. It’s pretty handy but I need to go to the gallery to use it. Having this in app would be great 😊

I haven’t posted in a while and I’m not used to social media but I’ll give it my best. I also plan to redesign my website and add a blog to it. There are some interesting projects that I’d love to try. For example I want to try switching my pc to Linux as my main OS.

Just got to Warsaw for my first weekend classes of college. I’ve got my first class in 8 hours and I just checked in. There has been a lot happening in my life lately and a lot of things haven’t worked out, but I just have to keep moving. I want to become more active online to document my journey.

A night photograph shows a tall building illuminated in bright green with a clock tower and spire, likely the Palace of Culture and Science. A red flag hangs from a pole in the foreground, and a sign reads “WARSZAWA MOŻLIWA” near a blue arrow sign. Cars and people are visible in the plaza below, with other lit buildings in the distance under a dark sky.

Finally was able to get in 🎉🎉🎉

Yeah, I think so too, but still it’s funny that my brain read it as MAGA and it took me a second to notice that it’s not

120

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 02/09/2026

Was I the only one to read MEGA as MAGA. Either way it’s funny when people become territorial on an open network and then it backfires. I don’t think that groups like that will do long-term.

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 20/08/2026

After all of that I came to the conclusion that if I want to progress I have to start hanging out around people from whom I can learn and get motivated. It’s hard to change it all, but that’s just part of the journey.

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 20/08/2026

This kind of lifestyle would burn through anyone. I myself for the past 5 years attended a technical school with a programming course and started working in family business. Low quality of education and some other issues made me completely unmotivated to code.

Who left the oven open, I’ve been melting entire day🫠 35°C during the day is brutal. Thankfully I was working in an air conditioned office today, but now that I got out it’s hard to live in this hell.

100

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 23/07/2026

I feel like people don’t talk enough about this angle of the problem. Also I think that restricting access could cause that those teens won’t know how to use social media in a safe way, because instead of teaching them how to use it, we ban them from using it.

000

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 29/06/2026

I've been melting in my room with 29°C today. I can't imagine how bad it must have been to use an oven in those conditions 🫠

May this hell be already over. It’s about 29°C in my room and I’m basically melting at this point. If not for cold drinks I would be dead already. How is the rest of Europe doing?

Maybe I should consider switching too... I thought about it lately, because of Google's bloat, but didn't have time or motivation to try it.

000

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 12/06/2026

I agree with this. We shouldn't focus on baseless negativity and keep doing good work. If keep listening to them, we won't be making any progress.

010

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 12/06/2026

People will always have something bad to say about new things. It's just easier for them to give negative opinions, than leaving their comfort zone and giving the new thing a chance. I think that a lot of people don't trust new things trying to replace existing solutions.

My workplace this week. It caused more trouble than expected, today I’m fixing stuff that I worked on yesterday, because it completely stopped working for whatever reason 😤

An open gray metal electrical cabinet with multiple rows of wires and circuit breakers. The wires are red, blue, white, and black. There are several black boxes with white text and symbols on the top row. A red and blue box is on the bottom row. A white gauge is on the left side of the cabinet. A white device is on the right side of the cabinet. A white and black cable is on the floor.

Actually I always wanted to try drawing as a hobby, but I always lost motivation when I started and looked at my results. Maybe it's a good time to give it another chance.

024

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 10/06/2026

I can relate to you so much. For the past 4 years I haven't finished programming a single project. But lately I started felling more motivated again, still there is a long way ahead. It's great to know that there are others facing this issue. Especially someone talented so talented at drawing 😊

100

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 10/06/2026

I went through a burnout a few years ago and just lately as I’ve been finally getting motivated to move forward I discovered that my biggest issues were: a bad environment and lack of social interaction (especially talking about myself). Now that I graduated I can finally move on 🎉

Every life has its better and worse moments and everyone needs a way of getting sad memories out of their system. So don’t feel sorry for being yourself ;)

110

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 09/06/2026

Throughout the rest of the week I’ll be sharing a bit of my work as a smart home technician. As well as show you a new side project that I’m going to work on. Hopefully this is the right step to being more motivated to achieve my goals ;)

Second train ride of the day! Nothing beats going for a work trip by a train right after an orthodontist appointment. Today has been quite busy and it’ll only get more intense. I plan to become more active here in June and share a bit of my life as I get closer to becoming a college student ;)

A red and white train at a station platform under a curved roof. The platform has a yellow line and metal railings. A digital sign displays train information. The tracks are visible in the foreground.

Yeah, making it easier for people to secure their accounts is great, but only if it actually works. I think that passkeys are a better solution. They're easy to use and eliminate passwords. The real issue is educating users how to secure their stuff.

100

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 08/06/2026

My thought exactly, I wonder who thought that this is a good idea. It's as if you're tasking a stranger with changing your passwords and giving them back to you on a sticky note.

Today’s kayaking trip was exhausting. I ended up in water twice and I have all of my limbs sunburne.

Screenshot of a fitness app showing workout details for a paddling session on Saturday, May 30. The session lasted 8 hours, 34 minutes, covering 30.20 kilometers. It burned 3.796 kilocalories with an average speed of 3.5 kilometers per hour and an active heart rate of 3.093 kilocalories. The average heart rate was 111 beats per minute, categorized as "Hard." The background is dark, and the text is in white, green, red, and blue.

Oh, yeah that would be an interesting attention to detail

GTA VI looks unbelievable... oh, wait a sec After playing NTE for just a little bit I can say that it not only looks great, but also feels great. It's interesting how they combine silliness with more scary story theme.

100

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 26/04/2026

I'll be mostly posting about tech, computer science, anime and other random stuff that I'll be doing. I'm also slowly building my personal website and getting back to coding after burnout from school. I hope that posting here and talking with others will be the motivation that I need to move on.

000

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 26/04/2026

It's been a while since I used Bluesky, tbh I never was active on social media and I think that has to change. On Friday I finally graduated from technical school and although I have matura exams (finals) in may, I plan to gradually increase my social presence both online and irl ;)

Who else is excited for the new season of Classroom of the Elite? Those first 4 episodes were great and I can't wait to see more! And I feel like getting to see Ayanokoji's full abilities will be quite interesting. Also I need to finally start reading the light novel.

Yeah, maybe I’ll try to make it as a first atproto project. It would be a nice way of getting to know new people with similar personalities

130

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 03/03/2026

I’ll definitely give it a try and I don’t think that getting involved in npmx would be a bad thing though my skills right now aren’t great

010

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 02/03/2026

As patak said after watching it you will never look the same at a conversation. First thing I did after watching it was assigning colors to family members and friends. Also as a side note I'm blue, maybe someone should make a labeler for that and color based feeds 🤣

211

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 02/03/2026

I had exactly the same issue, I was like wait... something doesn't add up, how could I be green, I checked again and after a few minutes I noticed the comment 🤣

020

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 02/03/2026

Watched it and turns out that I'm blue, which doesn't come as a surprise to me. Although for the past few years I've been struggling with burnout and procrastination. But I plan to get back to coding, by doing small projects and sharing them in public. Also to use atproto more hehe ;)

Mateusz Górniak @mgorniak.com · 02/03/2026

Yeah I watched this video (youtu.be/02TR5arkymk?...) yesterday and he pointed out things that made sense for me. Also his approach to teaching communication skills is really easy to understand.

When I watched it, it almost felt like a movie quality technical presentation. Animation quality combined with this specific industrial design is just too good. Endfield’s art style is probably one of the main reasons why I got hooked on it.
