3/ This uses the standard COCO-80 YOLOX-Nano model with a 0.30 confidence threshold The recording shows the real output, including the occasional false positive. Still experimental, but a promising base for local video search, analytics, accessibility, and automation inside VLC

2/ The video pixels never need to be copied back to the CPU, and inference runs entirely locally. Results on Intel Iris Xe: • 15 inference submissions/sec • 12.45 ms average inference • 19.46 ms maximum • 260/260 inferences completed • No frames skipped

1/ The whole video pipeline stays on the GPU: → VLC decodes to D3D11 NV12 surfaces → D3D11 scales and letterboxes to 416×416 → OpenVINO runs the ONNX model on the Intel GPU → C# performs YOLOX decoding and NMS → D3D11 renders the boxes back into VLC

I’m exploring what local AI can do inside VLC plugins on an average consumer laptop. This experiment turns VLC 4 into a real-time object detector using a C# Native AOT plugin. The video is the actual VLC interface processing 4K video with YOLOX-Nano. 🧵

Really impressed by Noctis' UI and UX. An open source music player built with .NET and Avalonia UI, available on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with LibVLC powering media playback. noctisapp.cc/

Small pkgstore update: Publisher listings can now show more products from the same publisher. Useful for discovering related .NET libraries and tools without leaving the listing page. Would product bundles be useful too?

I added free trials for pkgstore marketplace offerings. Trial access can grant NuGet feed credentials, then access follows the subscription state. Question for paid .NET tools/libraries: What trial model works best? 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, card required, no card?

Ok, nice. Might offer both options :)

If you use Azure Artifacts, GitHub Packages, MyGet, ProGet, Artifactory, or a self-hosted feed today: are you happy with it? Why or why not? #dotnet #nuget

Market research question for .NET teams: When you hear "private NuGet feed", what comes to mind first? 1. Internal packages for your own team 2. Per-customer package delivery 3. Both I am shaping a new offering for pkgstore and trying to understand the real use case.

I added a proper docs section for pkgstore: - products and offerings - NuGet feeds - generated credentials - private vs marketplace feeds - subscriptions and trials Hope this is helpful. Will keep updating it as the platform evolves!

pkgstore uses standard NuGet tooling. No proprietary CLI, no plugins, no SDK. 🛠️ Publishers use dotnet nuget push with named push keys. Buyers add a source with dotnet nuget add source. Works in VS, Rider, dotnet CLI. It's just NuGet. ✅ pkgstore.io

How getting paid on pkgstore works 💰 1. Connect Stripe (one click) 2. Create a listing with a price 3. Push your packages 4. Buyers subscribe via Stripe Checkout 5. Money hits your Stripe account That's it. pkgstore.io 📦

🎉 pkgstore just got its first publisher 🎉 NuGet Gallery lets you share packages, not sell them. There's no marketplace for OSS devs and companies who want to turn useful packages into income. That's the gap pkgstore fills. More publishers coming soon. 👀

Monetizing a .NET library? Dual licensing, sponsorship, SaaS wrappers, consulting... pkgstore fits one slice: selling packages. Free tier on nuget.org + paid pro packages, early access for subscribers, or direct sales only. Your call. 🤷 www.pkgstore.io

Selling a NuGet package shouldn't require stitching together a feed server, payments, credentials, and a storefront. pkgstore does all of it — Stripe storefront, auto NuGet feed, credential mgmt. Buyers use standard dotnet CLI. No custom tooling. 📦 www.pkgstore.io

Hi, which part was blocking? I maintain code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc... and a Godot integration would be great. Let me know if I can help.
