I miss old GameXChange! It went corporate years ago and the whole vibe changed. I remember being a little kid, it was dimly lit, the demo consoles had Tony Hawk Underground, Deftones or Tool on the overhead speakers. It was paradise.

They also don't have any enticing rewards, at all. There's not any special gear or specific loot that can't just be purchased or farmed. There's almost no reason to do side quests aside from the sake of completion.
