Happy to announce that my debut novel The Harashima Obituary is now finished and readable! Grab it from the following location: mfg38.itch.io/the-harashim... Will also be submitting to free-ebooks.net, but I'm not trusting the approval process to be particularly quick.

Wasn't expecting CP2077: Phantom Liberty to go Alien: Isolation in the final section of Reed's side of the story. Or to cry towards the end.

Analog synths are just so cool, man. If I had more money and space in my apartment, I'd build a whole-ass synth station to play around with.

I ordered this card the better part of a year ago and now it FINALLY arrived. Who to pin this horrible delay on? Honestly not sure, but I sort of hope it wasn't the national post office's fault.

For the first time in my 32-year life, I have just seen someone censoring the word "burn". Are you fucking kidding me?

I was gonna be a more responsible studier of Japanese this time around, but no, here I am still procrastinating my homework till the day of the next lesson.

I should start wearing my waterproof jacket whenever I go for a walk at this time of year. There's no trusting the consistency of Finnish fall weather. And yet I keep insisting on not wearing it.

Almost 200 pages in the debut novel now. And there's still a decent amount of stuff to be filled in. My earlier 250-page estimate for the finalized thing may have been closer than I thought.

Finally got around to playing Scanner Sombre and boy, what a game. I won't pretend to understand all the implications of the ending, but it's definitely a unique sort of game. The definition of video game art.

Alright, it turns out I may have been wrong about what Rammstein teased with that other video yesterday. Love me a good concert film, though, so I'm excited about this one. youtu.be/9x-dFyLxfBQ

Still wishing itch.io would add a feature to filter out search results with AI-generated content. Make the disclosure useful beyond just asking about it, you know.

189 pages in the debut novel now. I want to say it'll be close to 250 pages by the time it's finished, but that's more of a prediction than a hard goal. Time will tell how girthy it actually ends up being.

The progress I've made on the debut novel recently inspired a reread of Neuromancer. So I started that last night. One thing I immediately realized: William Gibson is great at making you visualize the dystopic nature of the world through his prose.

Alright, I've finally beaten Metroid Fusion. So far, my least favorite Metroid game, mostly on account of the bosses, but still a good game in its own right.
