It's clear that the traditional 'First-past-the-post' voting system doesn't work in a multi-party system. People have more faith in a political system where their voice and views are represented: it's time for the UK to have proportional representation in all national and local elections.

1. I worked overseas for 30 years and thought of myself as an expat at first (and it was true in the literal sense) but in the last 10 years or so realised it was more appropriate to describe myself as an economic migrant.

My fingers are raw battling the social media shite that paints immigrants to the UK as the problem. My daughters cringe a bit but I tell them we can't ever let it go unchallenged...as that's how such shite gets normalised. I am so glad to be getting even angrier as I get older! 🤣

2. I always planned to retire at 65 - and no govt raising of state pension age was going to change that - and am now volunteering with a mental health charity, a local museum and NT Scotland, all of which is contributing to society. So, this dick can absolutely go do one!
