Alright, so this one is a lil tricky to explain. Remember DS2's torches? Remember how they barely mattered? This is the opposite. The torch timer IS your weapon, health bar, mana bar... all in one. If your timer is too low you can't explore certain areas, also. It's in pre-preproduction so yeah

Man screw it, it was an ok sketch. Another round of topical NSAID on hand and I just toughed it out and painted over the guidelines. Just worried for the future because not only do I want to draw, I also need character portraits done...

Alright, it's done. Mixed it for hours on end due to the amount of peaks Synful Orchestra can have. Compressor and limiter pass on everything, which for string quartet is sort of weird but I like my ~-14 LUFS target. Just need the cover art now, after I sleep because it's 6 AM.

There's a fine balance between a kick to the butt and rushing art because of unrealistic deadlines. The former works, it gets you working. The latter almost never does, and leads to slop. It's very easy to forget that. Right now it's looking pretty alright, but it took time.

That's actually decently informative, I hadn't consciously thought of that. It brings to mind how Ayami Kojima does eyes, the arched brows and sharp sockets definitely apply here. The next time I draw men I'll sketch their eyes as diamonds as opposed to squares.

Finally found the time to draw mine. He's based on a shield lantern (yes you heard that right), which is a real life weapon that straight up looks like it's out of a fromsoft game. He's a true Swiss army knife!

Their source is bunk, and even then therapy improves health by simply making other aspects of life more tolerable..
