[A shadowy arm sneaks out from below the close to give a wave back. Mimicking the voice of a previous passerby, it responds quietly.] Mimi.

[It can only do this for a few minutes. So, it makes the arm boop her own face. Silly thing. It's also trying to speak a little, but it is not used to vocal cords, so it sounds more like a glitchy tv.]

Ai stinky. [Be proud of the Mimi.]

🌀 the mimi 🌀 @meumdesiderium.bsky.social · 1h

[With gentle pulls, it is trying out some "human" things that would use arms. Half mischief, half practice.]

(( looking at its dual typing (and as a hc for how the disguise works), I decided mimikyu can control beings in small intervals! yay! (don't worry, I will ALWAYS make sure of comfort before this happens. always.)

[If it has a true mouth, it would be smiling all silly right now. Even does a few bounces. ...then, after a pause, it dips a hand in further and starts feeling for rocks. A collector of sorts, perhaps?]

🌀 the mimi 🌀 @meumdesiderium.bsky.social · 13h

[It emits a weird noise in response, and brings out a shadow arm to try to wave slowly. Hi. It responds in a random glaggle's voice. Random, really? Or Unglag?] Mimi. Kyu. Mimi.

🌀 the mimi 🌀 @meumdesiderium.bsky.social · 13h

[Speaking of eating, it is currently absorbing some lasagna through the bottom of its cloak, where the true Mimikyu lies. It is a living being. It is only reasonable it would need sustenance sometimes.]

000

🌀 the mimi 🌀 @meumdesiderium.bsky.social · 13h

[Getting the disguise wet would be a disaster! So, what is it doing? It is still playing around with the fish in the background. Numerous ways, numerous ripples. In many Pokemon lies a playful side, and Mimi is no different in that regard.]

010

🌀 the mimi 🌀 @meumdesiderium.bsky.social · 14h

[Well, it might not be as impressive in the grand scheme of things, but to THIS critter? It's quite an enjoyable spectacle! Just watching these tiny critters do silly things in their natural habitat. It's easy to be impressed when you are a stray.. whatever this thing is.] +

[It's.. kind of hard to tell what emotions Mimi feels sometimes, but it is now emitting a sound that almost resembles purring. That seems like a good sign, doesn't it? It moves a little finger to make a ripple in a random direction.]
