Got my N7 icon cross-stitch done for Mass Effect, part of a series to fundraise for @stjudeplaylive.bsky.social I tried to do justice to the sleeve stripes but also do the visual break that also happens on certain parts of the armor. The logos are fun to do, getting my skill and speed up.

Finished the Mass Effect Paragon symbol. I was worried because it's my first circular cross-stitch work, and it was intimidating for my third project. I sort of winged weaving in circular shapes. Renegade and N7 soon!

Part of a prize raffle fundraising effort for @stjudeplaylive.bsky.social: the Cerberus icon. My second ever cross-stitch attempt. I learned it just for this purpose. I'm hoping my stitch-work is OK and I'll improve along the way, after the Mass Effect icons I want to try more intense imagery.

Mom's cancer has been ruled inoperable. It has spread from the thyroid, into the trachea and the airway. We're looking at chemo and radiation. The deck is stacked, but she's going to try. I've recently become a volunteer Adoption Counselor at a no-kill cat rescue. It is humbling work. I managed to get my boy here adopted within four days of his posting on the website. I'll pat myself on the back for that.

Abaddon the Despoiler passed away peacefully in my arms yesterday. We tried everything to heal her, but making her live a life of pain betrayed my love for her. She was only 3. She's everything to me. She was my guaranteed happiness in the darkness. I don't know what to do now. I love you forever.

She just turned three. I've only had her for two years. She survived a cat hoarding situation and had to have her leg amputated. She fought so hard. She fought to make me happy. It's time to prepare.

CW - Mental Health Last year I suffered a PTSD relapse which along with a rapid cycling bipolar disorder led to moments in which my life was in danger several times. I was certified. I'm still dealing with it but I'm trying to come back to Twitch. I just want to stream regularly. I miss it. 1/5

My cat comes from a hoarding situation & broke her leg there so it had to be amputated. The rescue failed to spay her & misinformed me. She nearly died from a pyometra. We've had two loving years where we've overcome her trauma. We are now fighting a lethal colon issue. She's only 3. Hug your pets.

Been away from streaming since St. Jude month. The main reason being that my cat, Abaddon the Despoiler, is very unwell and we currently don't know how to fix things. She's the biggest part of my life and I can't handle this. Also the therapy programs I was waitlisted for are finally ready for me.
