My neighbor voted for him in 2016, strict Christian, etc. then Covid came and he saw the lies. He was very science oriented and started digging and everything unraveled. Anti-trump and atheist over a matter of months after seeing maga and the church turn on the truth.

It's the white privilege that most of my brethren don't believe they have. I carpooled with a black colleague and he told me how he drilled into his kids to immediately put your hands on the steering wheel if pulled over and make no sudden moves. I was taught to just be respectful if pulled over.

Dems agreed to the CR in March because they did not want to shut down the government and had hope that there could be some negotiations in the upcoming bill. People knew Republicans would not negotiate. Rs proved that with the OBBB. Now, the only way to get Rs to the table is to force negotiations.

This is what I try to do. The places where I grew up was primarily white. I never understood why people would look down on anyone else and never gave a 2nd thought to the color or creed of the people I interacted with. Probably why most of my friends are foreign born.
