Tried something like this? I'm not an audiophile either. I dont have an issue losing my dongle as the dongle stays on my wired IEMs all the time like tje 3.5mm jack would. Altogether IEMs and DAC are approx €30. Even adding it doesnt break the bank.

It has stylus support. Personally don't understand the obsession over MicroSD, when it existed I observed it generally never being removed. I use USB-C sticks and drives for a lot more storage in a form factor less prone to being lost if removed. USB-C can and is capable of better than 3.5mm.

Adding a jack doesn't solve the inherent problem of, what most people rose tint with nostalgia, most phones having terrible internal DACs anyway. Only LG really provided anything decent with their QuadDACs. USB C can, should and would be better if audio companies didnt just move everyone to BT.

Are not aware of our partnership with Motorola and upcoming support for the Signature 27 release? Also I bloody love the great value and longevity (10 years) of my €20 Airsspu (KZ) Monitors paired with the UGreen Hi-Res DAC on my GrapheneOS Pixel 8.

You have seen this right? What has Pixel hardware (until the Motorola Signature 27 releases) have to do with GrapheneOS? Any OEM regardless of app choice, does this. As you can see only GrapheneOS significantly provides any protection against it. Buy Chinese, Korean etc doesnt matter.

This is where things like /e/OS become useful in Europe to promote. They leave people vulnerable, intentionally, so security services can access data either forensically or remotely while hiding behind a veneer of privacy/security marketing, pushing both as concepts deliverable by gradation.

They either want to do it directly or require constitutional or legal bypasses such as those offered by the EU or Five Eyes. So one nation can do it to another and provide the data and intelligence in return for each others. The EU will provide the channels/mechanisms for it.

Bad is bad regardless of the actor involved. I won't EU/US/RUS wash excuses for any party and good tech is good tech regardless of where it is located. Data Sovereignty for the EU isn't about individual sovereignty but that of which geopolitical entity has it for accesses citizens data.

/e/OS has enough problems already beyond this such as a CEO parroting Chat Control rhetoric from their EU funding partners and calling anyone using actual private/secure software/hardware peadophiles, while partnering with a midrange green washed Chinese ODM device both doing slow updates.

With our partnership with Motorola and AOSP still being maintained and available us being 'cut off' is hyperbolic and just wrong. There are too many invested OEMs licensing GMS and requiring AOSP for all their derivatives.

More foundational improvements to be made going forward as well as in the shorter (not short necessarily) term RCS with sandboxed Google Play dependency and longer term self sustained RCS functionality without.

Nothing wrong with having your GrapheneOS device with you, it's better than but similar to that dumb phone paradigm. You should make use of Modes and enable it to only allow essential contacts via essential methods to reach you. Reduce the distraction and feeling of always being available to people.
